Let it run- take my 55* and hit it normal (not with the blade opened way up) and let it run up next to to the hole.

 

If you could have a dream set of clubs, what would your longest iron be? (would you carry a bunch of hybrids or keep a fairly normal setup?)

Although I currently have a 3 iron I think I would wish to start with a 4 iron.

 

150 yards, no wind, no elevation change etc. What club do you hit?

I like this question :cheesy: If I'm in between clubs, I'll almost always choke down a 1/2 inch on the longer club and hit a knockdown. I've gotten really comfortable hitting this shot in these hard northern winds.

 

You havent played for, say, a month or so. You decide to hit some range balls and find everything you hit is a big, nasty, (insert duck hook or slice). Which would you rather try to fix?

lob wedge- choke down on it and swing to 9 o'clock (my 40 yard shot when not choking up).

 

You're up against a tree, and you have no stance to hit it normal. Do you:

 

a)flip the club over and it it LH (or RH if you're already LH)

b)backhand it with the back of the club

c)ask a lefty friend to try a club (not a competitive round, just to try new things)

d)use the foot wedge :D

Take my 55* and hit it up high and land it just past the pin. If it spins back, cool, if not, I'll still have a putt.

I think I'd rather miss it; at least I would have been in control. Besides, to miss from 20 ft isn't that bad. If it was say, a 4 foot putt, then I wouldn't want to miss that to lose.

 

TP Mills putter or Odyssey putter?

Hit a really hard 5 iron, it'll have a high enough trajectory to stay on the green, and better short than long.

 

18th hole at Pebble Beach, you just hit a perfect drive and have 10 yards longer than your normal 3 wood goes, a birdie gets you a personal best, but a bogey costs you a $100 bet. What do you do?

Hit a normal 3 wood and get up and down- 10 yards isn't too tough of an up and down, and it's not worth risking all the trouble for the perfect shot (too much trouble- water left, bunker short right, bunker all the way up the left).

 

If you were on the Ryder Cup and could only play 1 match, who would it be with (partner + opponents) and what method of play (foursomes or fourball)?

You break your driver the day before a tournament. Your SS is perfect for a stiff shaft, but unfortuneately, you can't get a replacement driver in stiff; you can only get regular or x-stiff. Which one would you hit?
