Went to see Dave for the Trackman yesterday and all I can say is wow. I had numbers that were so informative that I can use the data to improve myself. Albeit I wasn't as good as the others there but it was enough to validate where I stand today. Afterall, I've only started playing last year. Thanks for the experience Dave. Oh, and that golf club looks nice too. I wish I can play in NJ more often. Maybe next time!

Buddy and I went on Saturday as well and as most of you already know, the data that you get from this experience is UNBELIEVABLE .

My Friends purpose was to get numbers because his ball flight is entirely too high. After 45 minutes of working with Dave and dialing in existing equipment and trying some new gear. Ball flight came down and distance average went up. He did not really believe that this was going to show him anything worthwhile but once he was finished and headed out he shot me a text and said WOW! that was amazing.

My reason for attending was to get my numbers for driver and iron spin, launch etc to try and dial in equipment. My Swing was very off when hitting irons but Dave was a god sent to work with. I was not rushed at all, and he was more helpful as anyone I have ever worked with. We worked through it and once I started hitting the ball like normal the numbers were very extremely interesting so now I can work on getting my gear dialed in without having to do a "buy and try" with a ton of gear.

I had hoped to get over there, but couldn't this time. One question: If you're hitting range balls, the spin and distance is bound to be off compared to your normal Pro V or whatever you play. I get that the numbers would be relative, so if you hit 4 drivers, they'd all be off by the same margin, but how is that calculated in terms of yardages, etc? One thing I was most looking forward to was getting a nice sense of my iron distances, but given more thought, I'm not sure how it would translate to the course.

Any feedback on these issues? Also, how far off would range balls be in terms of spin/launch vs. a premium ball? I'd think it might make quite a difference.

I was going to go, but had to work. I would have brought a small bag of my shag balls, scratched up ProVs/Tour i(S), etc, just for reference to see what the numbers were truly like. Then you can go back to hitting range balls.

I had the exact same feelings when I purchased the Trackman. I went to lost golf balls . com and bought pro v 1 xs because thats what i play. on driver shots vs the range balls at royce brook, the numbers were not that far off as to warrant an equipment change. ball speed and distance were very close. that surprised me. now my ave smash factor is 1.49-1.50, so maybe on mis hits it shows more? i dont know. didnt do this experiment with irons though. I will do this again, just pm me. How does this weekend work for anybody? Sat maybe?

Dave, do you know anything about the "Trackman Combine" (excerpt below)? Got an email from GAP about some day they're having for that and got interested - any chance in you doing another TM session in a week or two? Would need it on a weekend but would love to finally meet you and get on the TM and would also love to do/try the "Trackman Combine" - can't do it this weekend because of the Mercer Oaks club championship but I'm free any other weekend.

" Not only will you get 45 minutes of TrackMan time (with results emailed to you afterwards), but you'll get to try the TrackMan Combine! This set of 60 shots tests the player's ability from a variety of distances ranging from 60 yards all the way up to the driver. You will go through most of the clubs in your bag during the test,"

Yes, I can bring it anywhere you would like. I just need like 5 guys to make it worth it. but we could spend the whole day with it, no rush, or timed sessions. i will pm you
