I wasn't there so I don't have all the data. Smooth transition, 12 hcp, plays 3-4 times per month. Sales guy put him in a stock m5 stiff (not sure what shaft) and he was out to 270. Looking to get his spin down in his M1 with just a new shaft.

Here is another snapshot from a demo day last year. Don't remember what the launch monitor was. Obviously not a trackman, but reasonably consistent to what I got from trackman back in 2006 (pics of both below). 10 more yards of carry (267 vs 255) from a 155mph ball speed (104mph swing speed). Maybe due to lower spin rates (2891rpm vs 2295).

I'm pretty sure it was 260 total distance. But at 100 ss and 2300 spin, what would be optimal launch?

I've been around 15 degrees of launch on my best drives. Though I deliver alot of loft with my swing. And tend to hit down 1-2 degrees. 8.5 to 9.5 with a mid launch profile has been the best setup for me.

I think it would be a BIG help to most people if everyone stopped paying so much attention to swing speed, and focused on BALL SPEED. That is ultimately the number that matters the most. Ball speed, spin rate, launch angle, and carry distance are the important numbers to see when using a launch monitor. Ball speed will let you know what you can expect for carry distances for the most part. Of course the faster swing speed there is the potential for a higher ball speed which obviously will give you more distance. Hitting the ball in the sweet spot is what always yields most distance, and then dialing in launch angle, spin rate, peak height, and land angle will allow for maximum yardage gains. I used to always want to know swing speed when using a launch monitor as well, but after becoming friendly with a former mini tour player and a club fitter who did work on tour vans they would alway ask my ball speed. They told me that was the really important number because players at that level are all very good ball strikers, if a player was testing equipment and saw a massive jump in ball speed they would know that product was truly better or at least a better fit.
