I got a box of beers from Westbrook just in time for the long weekend. The Gose is awesome and One Claw is also very good. I like the IPA also but the other two I seem to like more. Gose is the perfect summer beer.

The odd side pineapple IPA is real good this year. Also was nice to see these canned options at a muni- two hearted, Oberon and founders all day Ipa

Just had Russian River Blind Pig - shared with a friend on the train ride home from work yesterday. My buddy brought a barrel aged porter from Tyrenna and some bourbon.

Picked up Half Acre (Chicago brewery) beer hates astronauts IPA after work - one of their one off brews.

A couple days ago had the RR redemption which was outstanding - dry blonde type ale

I've been bathing in Westbrook Gose.. It's just the perfect summer beer. Grilling, smoking, golfing, or just sitting around, it fits the bill and it's canned.

Been really enjoying a bunch of the Wicked Weed sours/brett beers I get while I'm in Asheville during the summer. Most of it's all aged in bourbon or wine barrels, and blends, really good stuff.

Makes some killer sours!!

I love Gose. I have some more coming next week. I have heard so many good things about Wicked Weed beers. They are on my list of beers I need to try.

Picked up a trifecta from New Glarus - Dancing Man (summer wheat), Spotted Cow and Scream their IPA - awesome beers. Wish they would sell in IL.

Has anyone seen Lagunitas Imperial Red this year? From the image below, it looks like it should have been released or will be released soon. This was a favorite of mine a couple of years ago, but I didn't stock up on it and found out later that it's not released every year.

Current fridge has a couple leftover bottles of Founders KBS and Bells Black note in the back. A couple 4-packs of the new New Glarus Oud Bruin, a couple bottles of Central Waters Illumination IIPA, a 2011 bottle of Surly Darkness and a bomber of Black Husky Sproose IIPA. I think in the drawer down below I have a couple bottles of Tyranena Devil Over a Barrel and a stray Capital Amber.
Probably going to stop on the way home and pick up some Bells Two-Hearted or Three Floyds Alpha King to get my hop fix for the weekend and trying to get hold of a Beer Camp 12-er but odds aren't good...

I have not, but read about many bottles being infected/poor shelf life, so that's kept me away.

Btw, had some kbs on my Chicago visit, it absolutely did NOT live up to the hype.

I mean it was good, don't get me wrong, I'd buy it if I saw it, but no way would I go crazy trying to hunt it down you know?

One of the owners at a craft beer bar we frequent said that since this year was the first time they kind of mass produced the kbs, it doesn't stack up as well of some ofthe past years. But at least the distribute in AZ now, so who am I kidding, I'll hunt it down next year haha

My local store has a ton of beer camp 12 packs that he already knows he isn't going to sell. I did not see anything stand out in it as a must buy.

My local place had all the beer camp stuff on tap. Got a few flights and the only two that were really really good IMO was the coffee stout and the ballast point. I wouldn't go crazy looking for it

Beer Camp has sold out quick around my parts.

I haven't had it yet, but did have some Tater Ridge, when I was in Asheville. Had it at a brewery that was part of the NC Brewers Alliance.

Been drinking alot of Gose lately, and have really had a craving for Two Hearted as well. Been putting those away too easy!!

I'm just more in the sour mood lately, so the Gose, and the Wicked Weed stuff I have on hand, have been holding me over. Boulevard Love Child #4 is pretty good this year too, so thats been a favorite, just wish it wasn't $20 a bottle.

Been knockin back some Lawson and Heady this summer though, so happy to have good trade partners who can help me out there!

I'd love to try the New Glarus Oud Bruin though, if ya'll are into trading for some beers.

KBS this year, I agree, was a bust. It's still a good beer, but I've had it for the last 3 years, and it seems to be going in a direction away from what got me interested in the beer. I swear they blended it this year to make it go a little farther, but I have no evidence of that other than the lack of barrel, and the high amount of coffee in it this year.

That was the thing with the kbs, it was just a overwhelming coffee taste without much balance IMO.

Correct. Imperial lager at 8+%. I stopped in a store by my office and they wanted $16 for it so I passed. Had some Anderson valley hop ottin, I believe that's it, on a recent golf trip and really liked that.

Also a guy had some Ska brewing modus hoparandus that was great. Too bad its not distributed in michigan.

I paid $12 for my bottle. I thought it was good. However, I think Shorts Mmmkay is a better beer that's the same style.

Also picked up 3 other beers I've never tried, trying to get away from what seems like strictly ipa's.

I've been craving a good saison ever since I had a cab franc barrel aged one from San Tan. I hate all of their beers except ones they barrel

Haven't heard great things about this year's KBS. I've got three that I'm going to hold onto for a year or so to see how they age.

Headed back to VT for a sales meeting in September and I'm actually devoting two days to beer missions. Gonna try to visit Hill Farmstead and hopefully hit up the Warren store to grab some Lawson's. Anyone have any idea if it's all gone early Thursday morning or does it last a day or two?

Anyone here had any toppling Goliath? It's got tons of hype and I virtually impossible to find.
