Can't believe I haven't seen this thread till just now.

Hopslam finally made its way down here. Shipments were delayed week after week. Went to pick it up and found some World Wide Stout. Guy said he got ahold of a late shipment. Not a bad day.

I thought it was pretty good. Not as spicy as the original which I really like.

Dogifsh posted World Wide Stout over 120 Minute IPA at their brewpub. I'm going to be there Sunday night...might have to investigate.

and more Hopslam. we've gotten like 3 shipments this year, so atleast next year maybe most people will stop rushing out for it. It's not truck chasing worthy anymore.

 

Been drinking a bunch of homebrew lately, got 4-5 batches fermenting and in various stages, and 6-7 kegs in various levels of empty and full..

I've been growing less excited about bombers these days. I'd rather get 2-3 12 oz bottles that I can enjoy multiple times than paying $15+ and being committed to finishing that night.

Started my 2nd batch of homebrew on Sunday, it's a milk stout with potential for high ABV, og was 1.079.

I went out to Founders for the release and got my allotment. It was a real good time. They had a really solid tap list including KBS 2014 and 2013. They also had some brewery only beers that were awesome.

Just wanted to jump in on this thread being new to the forums. I'm an equal opportunist beer drinker. Love hitting my local beer store and trying anything and everything I can get my hands on. I look forward to hanging in here and talking beer!
