Oh and I realize that the Centennial is highly rated by many, I've just never had it. I'm still new to IPAs in general, so I'm making my way down the list slowly.
[/quote]

Not sure why, but I never was that impressed by Founder's IPA offerings. However, I absolutely love their stouts.

No kidding, as soon as Backwoods bastxxx and Imperial Stout drop I'm going to be out lots of money, and fridge space.

I love lancero a so I will probably get a few to have around.

Haven't had a chance to try the new Escurios, need to make that happen too.

Currently in the middle of having beers from all the breweries in MA. This is the latest.

Got a growler of Pernicious IPA from Wicked Weed. It won the Silver in the IPA category this year; first one east of the Mississippi in the IPA cat since 1999. Can see why they liked it! Solid, southern Cali style, with a cleaner finish. If you are near Asheville, pick some up. They have it in 500ml bottles too!!! (And don't forget the Freak of Nature DIPA while you're there too.)

I was there a few weeks ago and had both. I hit a few other breweries as well including Burial (surf wax IPA was good), Green Man, Catawba, Hi-wire to name a few. Wicked Weed is still the best in my book. It was rainy while I was there so I didn't get to enjoy the lower level outdoor area, but the great beer made up for that.

That's a great beer. Did you try the Jack O'Hammered while you were there? Awesome pumpkin beer.

I actually wasn't there this time. My wife brought it back for me. She was in Asheville for the day, and grabbed a few things so I didn't overload her with a lot of stuff to chase around. Appalachian Vintner's website is current with their draft list, and having been in there, I have an idea of what they have on the shelves...so I can get a few things without the hassle of "I have to do what and go where?"

Probably getting down there next summer, and will have to search out some Burial. Heard great things! I've tried some of the Green Man, French Broad, Pisgah (killer Pale!!!!) and Asheville Brewing. Even some Frog Level from Waynesville. The Wicked Weed is by far my favorite and have knocked it out of the park with everything I've had from them.

If you're down that way, sneak out to Sierra's campus. Just beautiful place, and nothing like fresh Sierra from the tap. The Pale Ale is my go-to Miller-Lite type beer...I've always got a case of cans in the fridge.

As for the pumpkin beers, I've sworn off of them I've tried a ton, and to be honest, most of them don't do it for me. So, I made a conscious decision to just not drink them. Maybe I'm missing out, but there are enough options out there that I don't feel slighted.

My last 2014 Founders Imperial Stout:

I know the term "fanboy" is thrown around here frequently when it comes to discussing golf clubs, but I may just be a Founders fanboy. I like so many of their beers from the IPAs to stouts. Can't wait for all the releases this fall and winter.

In Hawaii found a world class brew pub last night. Great food and tap list. Bottle list was insane as well just way overpriced compared to the drafts. Got a 4 pack of backwoods waiting for me back in AZ too. Close to the perfect week haha.

A friend of mine gave me a small sample of New Glarus beers to try and I have enjoyed a couple of them. Spotted Cow was very nice and I can see what it is so well liked. Also tried the Two Women lager and it was good as well. Still have a couple more to sample this week.

I purchased a variety pack of Oskar Blues for tailgating this past weekend and it reinforced how solid of a brewery they are IMO. Dale's Pale, Pinner, Yella Pils, and Old Chub are all near the top of pile in their respective categories. Not #1 but all easily drinkable any day of the year. Ten Fidy is top notch stout and G'Nite is nothing shabby either. Plus, its easy to get anywhere and pretty much any time. I'm sure it has lost some of it's appeal because it's not rare but I wish more breweries were doing what they are doing.

Maybe the best inventory I've had in a while. Picked up Backwoods Ba&tard and FBS today and received a nice beer mail with Konkey Dong, Zombie Dust, Broo Doo, and Arctic Panzer Wolf. I'm not sure what to open first.

Have yet to try the SN Oktoberfest....how does it compare to tne Staghorn?

I haven't tried the Staghorn yet. I just got that one last weekend. The SN is my favorite. The Yee Haw Crowler you see in my fridge is their Oktoberfest. It's my second favorite to the SN so I have two for comparison for the Staghorn. Yee Haw is a regional brewery to me.
