Gotta say, I'm a die hard titleist guy but if this ball performs better with a similar feel I'm willing to put it into play.

The turn off for me with the first line was the firm RZN core. Felt way too clicky. Even more so than the new HEX Black.

Both are great balls but I like the feel of the PV1X ten times more.

I hate to pile on but I have to agree. Every year we are told the New Nike Ball is the best ball ever and every year I buy a sleeve of each and am typically underwhelmed, especially for the cost. It does seem like guys who tend to love Nike equipment in general are fans of their balls and that's cool, I am not saying in any way that Nike makes a crappy or bad ball, there just always seems to be some aspect i am not a fan of. I actually liked the tour D quite a bit. and the One Plat before that. I am sure I will put them through their paces when they come out.

I really don't see the point in having two 20xi balls that are so similar. The current S & X are nearly identical aside from a slight difference in compression (and even that isn't much). They should really take a que from TM and Callaway and release one 20xi at $45 and a cheaper 3-piece urethane ball (something similar to the One Tour D) at $30-35.

The ONErzn balls look like an epic failure. For those that don't already know, Nike's "RZN" is actually just one of Dupont's HPF ionomer blends ([url="http://www2.dupont.com/HPF/en_US/"]http://www2.dupont.com/HPF/en_US/[/url]). This ball will essentially be 3 layers of ionomer (probably be better off hitting a marble).

I still like the One Tour D the most of the Nike balls but the 20xi weren't bad. I do agree though on the peculiar feel. I hope they fix that in this new version.

We got our samples last week, and my favorite is the 20XI. It feels softer than the 20XI- X, and I ended up liking the feel so much that I traded the 20XI-X to another guy in our shop for his 20XI.

Nike has got to get better price points to have people try the ball out. I have tried the 20XI and it's nothing special but if the new one is better at their price points not certain how many will buy.

Actual retail is $45.99 which is still less than the ProV1 and consistent with the rest of the OEM's top balls. There have been promos and discounts throughout the year so it has not been difficult to find these for less.

The TM Penta/5 and the Penta5 blows all the Nike balls away, and you can get them for around 30.00-40.00 a dozen.

The average golfer dossnt even know Tiger plays a special ball . they think he plays the same one on store shelves.

just like any other company's "tour" ball, the 20xi will retail at roughly $45/dozen. i don't know why but their msrp of $58 isn't their real msrp. everything on nikegolf.com is listed at way more than what it debuts at in all the stores.

If these are anywhere near the firmness of the past 20XI, then no thank you.

I admit these things are long, and they spin a tad too much on full shots, but around the green these have to be no better than using a pinnacle gold.

As for these having the "softest cover of all tour balls" doesnt mean crap when the mantle layer and core are hard as rocks.

I will try these because I loved the Nike One premium lines, still use them when I find them, but I do not understand why Nike can not for their lives use this "break through" technology and give it at least a nice feel off the club face.

I have my fingers crossed but it just looks like Nike rehashing the old product to try and breathe life into this golf ball line. But, who knows, I hope I am wrong. If I am I will have my next ball in 2013.

Are the balls too hard...or do they have more weight on the perimeter? More weight on the outside means it is harder to spin the ball up, and also harder to spin it down. In order for the ball to work effectively on short shots, it would need a very soft cover, and I believe they have done that very well.

The compression charts confirmed what I've been saying all along, these things are rocks. The sound off the driver is what irks me the most. Or used to anyways, when I still had my hearing in my left ear.

New balls sounds a 100 times better and is very soft feeling/sounding. I've played both versions of the new 20XI, not the RZN, however.
