New Nike 20XI and 20XI-X---more RZN!!!

New balls. Larger RZN core. I can tell you the 20XI feels slightly firmer than the 20XI-S. Played 9 holes with it tonight. haven't hit the X yet. Also, hit the One RZN, a 3-piece surlyn ball. VERY nice for a lower price. The tour players will be mandated to play one of the new balls next year. We'll see how that goes over...

They are FAR from firmer than the current 20XI. Compression is lower, RZN core is bigger, and mantle layer is softer for longer iron distance. These balls are stupid good!

I actually like how soft the S is now so I hope the new model isn't too much firmer. But very interested to see how this ball performs.

I would have to say they are somewhat going for the same style as older versions - I guess it's up to the player - S (one RzN) and X (one RzN X). As is Pro-v, Pro-V1x. New 20xi and new 20xi-s... etc etc..

One RZN is NOT the tour ball. Still the 20XI and 20XI-X for the tour balls.

From what I have read the One RZN is equivalent to the NXT line from Titleist. The 20xi is still the premium ball line.

I'm not sure how anyone could think the 20XI-S is rock-like, but the 20XI, which replaces the 20XI-S, is definitely a little firmer. Not as much spin, thankfully.

See when I received my 3 sleeves (RZN, RZN X, 20xi) - I didn't know there was also going to be a 20xi-X new ball.

I thought the 20xi proto ball felt like the old 20xiX, but had sick spin - as the 20xiS.

I figured the new 20xi was a mix of both balls.


I need to try the X out now!

from what I heard the tour issue *X is going to be the new retail X. I'm playing the *X now and loving it so if that's truly the next retail ball people are going to LOVE it. Blows the prov1x out of the water especially into any type of wind.

It has the SOFTEST cover on the list. Softer than ANY ball, not just tour balls. Not sure how it's the firmest ball.

The new 20XI is definitely softer feeling, but spins less off the driver and mid/long irons.
