Doesn't TaylorMade see that their marketing dept has made the company the source of more ridicule in the market than any other mfg? Whenever I hop into one of these threads, 95% of the banter is mocking and ridicule.

I guess they don't care about being the industry clown as long as it works.

we at golf wrx represent maybe 2% of the golfing community in the world.
most regular golfers see the pros using them, see the advertising, and buy them.

52% market share with Woods

Probably the new ball they have been testing on tour for quite a while...and don't hate on shaft length I use a 43.75 and carry the ball 285, not bad for only being 5'5. I have been told Serg shaft length is under 43...

And you still probably 3 putted for 6 after that huge drive

I was in a retailer the other day and saw a guy come in to get fit. He wanted rocketballz EVERYTHING. He had never hit them and was about a 17 capper, but he wanted the irons, the woods, the driver, the GOLF BAG, and everything to match with the rocketballz logo all over it. He couldn't be swayed even though he hit some other drivers better.
We represent probably less than 1% of the golfing world. Taylormade has obviously figured out how to get the other 99% to "NEED" their clubs. Why would they change?
We might be the 1%, but I sure razz everyone I see carrying the rocketballz banner out in the field.

You forgot to say "you're welcome" :D
Taylormade has had the right business model for years. So many whiners on this site. TM makes the products that backs up their marketing hype imo. The results and all the white heads I see on Tour as well as the average Joe speaks volumes.

Wow.

The anti TM bias is out of control.

I'm not a fan of the Rocketballz name but even with it they DOMINATED the market.

How do the other vendors let this happen year after year? They got beat by "Rocketballz" for cryin' out loud! And peop,e are mad at TM?

Don't be mad at TM. Be mad at your favorite other brand that can't keep up.

Abusing a companies marketing philosophy while they STOMP their competitors is...... Someone is filling their coffers while people waste time bagging on them. How silly is that?

TM doesn't care what Internet heros think. They care about the sales numbers that show them taking leads.

Signed,

A guy with only 1 TM club in the bag.

Most people don't hate TaylorMade. They just think Rocketballz is a stupid name. And it is. The product is good, but the name sounds like something that would be a K-Mart exclusive.

In fact, the way that people think such an amateur and cheesy name doesn't match a quality and professional product should actually be taken as a compliment if you think about it

Never said TMAG wasn't making money - And that's what it's all about - profit. I have no issue with that. But when you start naming your entire products like toys people eventually will associate your equipment with cheap and inferior. Who doesn't think the RocketBallz lineup doesn't look perfect on a picnic table of an 8 year olds birthday party - with a big bow on it - along side a Super Soaker water gun.

I'm simply stating that it cheapens the brand. They even chose to put a Z on the end of the name to spell it wrong like a kids toy. RocketBallZ.

I guess I should have taken marketing because these things are in every bag at the golf course. Mostly high cappers. But that's 99% of the golfers.

Success for TMAG - but Wal Mart is successful too and I won't step foot in there.

Yeah!! I mean, RazrFit is spelled correctly, Anser seems about right. Stupid Callaway and Ping. And Big Bertha? Tell me that doesn't sound like a toy. (and yes, before you tell me what it's named after, I already know)

And mostly high cappers? The elitists on this site amazes me.

SPOT ON SG.....
Someone once said golf is one of the 2 thing you dont have to be good at to enjoy....
Some of these folks are delusional.. I will take my buddy, who is a high handicap and play with him any day of the week...Because hes a good person...Some of these internet "low handicaps" couldnt hold his jock strap in integrity and character....

I guess Im a high handicap since I play RBZ stuff....Lets tee it up

And the bashing is quite funny....The fact that someone is talking about it, is all a company wants...Creating buzz
And

Littering and....littering and....(making fun of my typo with the extra and)
