being more specific - i am very familiar with how to load the shaft and feel it throughout the swing. the HZRDUS has a "uniload" feel. the LZ loads in the midsection. the TS has a perfect weighting and balance in my hands with NO real defined area or load or kick. there are a few shaft that i have played over the years (which have been a lot) that i would put into the "comfort" zone of the TS. TOUR AD DI, TP7HD, 757, BB 83, VTLT

here are the bullet points...

>narrowing space at hip joints to match shoulder joints - which overall narrows my stance significantly with both irons and woods.
>slowing the backswing down and keeping centered pivot with upper and lower body - this allows me to stop arms around 10:30/11:00
>"feeling" of no set on the backswing - right elbow in
>pausing at top and initiating power and speed with pressure into left foot

this lowers my ball flight and trajectory and the speed is coming with the feeling of no effort - very weird. the speed will increase over time as i wont be stopping the handle, dumping the club and exposing the heel. amazing difference - especially if you know how many times i have been able to play with two littles and work - single dad life.

fly flex is happening - going in and finalizing shafts this friday...i have better options than the full NIKE cart which is disappointing. shaft is down to the following - trusty 7.2TS, KK XT 70x, HZRDUS 75x, PX LZ 7.0.

 

irons - as of now i have gone back to the custom VR PRO splits from THE OVEN, another option would be the VAPOR PRO, J15 blades or PXG 0311T which are all legitimate option at this time.

 

wedges are staying the same.

 

hybrid/fw don't really see a change here - i don't change these out often...if anything will change out shafts to correspond with the driver shaft.

 

putter - i will buy an orgin for sure and perhaps play with a PXG DRONE, CAMERON FUTURA X or JASON DAY ITSY BITSY proto.

Yeah the fitting cart is pretty sad! I was actually launching the Fly flex 15* set at 9.5 left with the weight forward higher then the Fly set at 10.5 neutral.

 

I used my Oven splits for about half my rounds last year. IMO they are probably one of the best feeling and looking irons, I just wish the 3 and 4 were a little more forgiving.

 

Those PGX are the real deal! I hit them higher, further, and they would land on the green like a butterfly with sore feet.

I fell into this trap too.. trying really hard to get the Nike stuff to work, just go with the equipment that is legitimately better and you'll be happier in the long run ;)

Wow, Swanry back at it again in the white vans!!!

 

I like them all, I still vote to get fully fit and just use what ever ends up on top. I know our playing conditions couldn't be more different so I have to keep it in perspective when you're telling me why you pick the setups you pick :) I could definitely game any one of those setups, and more interested in hearing how your gamer bag competes against what is out now.

that being said i'm buying a fly flex regardless. when we get some decent weather i will get a full fitting and get another full bag of category winners as you put coming. that or fly to CA or AZ and do the same :)
