Yeah, Walden Ponds is about 5 minutes from me. Just played there last week. Course is in great shape IMO. PDP???? What is that? Not familiar.

I'm in NKy right across the river. I mostly play Kenton County (Fox Run and Willows), Boone Links, Lassing but do make my way to Ohio and Indiana. Week days are tough as I would have to take a vacation day.

At this point, I just hope to play soon. It started raining about 8am Thurs morning and I don't think it has stopped.

Ive never played in NKy. Man this rain is out of control! I have to take vacation time to play during the week as well - but we build time each pay and Ive got tons of it in my bank.

Boone Links is the most consistent of the bunch I mentioned. They have 3 nines. I live just off one of them. I mostly play KC as that is where my buddies want to go. 3 different 18 hole courses. Pioneer is shorter and open. Lots of seniors, ladies and kids but still fun a few times a year. Several drivable par 4's. Willows is pretty tight and the back is a pretty tough layout. Fox Run is longer and open but where you hit in the fairway matters. Most slope hard especially in July and August. They are putting in new fairways so it closed a week or so ago. I am not certain of the reopen date or why they would do it in June. Lassing was once one of he top ranked Ky courses. At times, it is a great place. At times, not so much as they have a few hard to maintain spots.

I can't name them all but I have played California, Shaker Run, Pebble Creek, Legendary Run, Grand Oak, Stonehenge, Lindale, Taylor Glen, Neumann, Elk Run, Aston Oaks, etc... in Cincinnati. I am about 10 miles across the river in Florence, Ky. I live close to the original Golf Exchange and can be found there frequently. I am suppose to play Aston tomorrow but we shall see as it was again pouring this morning.

PDP is a player developement program where you pay $45 a month for free range balls whenever. Then after 3 its $20 with a cart for as much as you can play. I am generally up there a couple times a week atleast.. Yea i haven't been up there for a couple weeks due to vacation then purchasing a house. But everyting is settled now so golf is coming back lol. If the rain stops of course.. I will probably play tuesday and thursday depending on the weather..


Also what do you shoot around Walden? What tee's you play from?

I play from the blues at walden typically. Last time out I shot 84. My iron game stinks right now. Im driving, pitching, chipping, and putting well - but struggling with the irons.

Lol. If ya play that course alot it's worth it. Especially if you play in the eveings alot. Ive gotten 27 holes in a few times. PM me if you want ill give you my contact info. I just enjoy playing golf ill play with whoever.

I am hoping to get out once more. I live 5 minutes from Walden. Played there couple weeks ago. They were doing airation on the t boxes but the course was in fantastic shape.

Could possibly play in the AM this Saturday if you can come up toward Dayton? I am working at 4 PM (ER doc so cannot be late) so itd have to be earlish.

Im here - ready to go when this crap weather decides to leave. Saturday was nice, but of course my day was full with kids stuff (birthday, father/daughter dance) so I didnt even hit balls.

Hope come Cincy/NKy/Day etc golfers can get together this year for some golf.

Im coaching my 9 yr old fastpitch softball to boot. So weekends will be out for me. I will have to take time off work, which isnt an issue. I will just have to golf during the week.
