Beautiful finish overall, and the face milling is something else. I've seen a few examples on byronputters.com, but never so clear a picture.

Pretty sure I missed out on the first run, but let me preempt any posts checking on interest, and say that I would DEFINITELY be in on a second run of 007s.

Looks too much like a Cameron. Time for everyone to come up with something original.

You have it backwards my friend.

Also one big (but very hard to notice) difference on this from all previous Anser style heads is that the sweet spot (CG) of the head is directly in the middle of the pocket. On others, the sweet spot is on the heel side of the centerline of the pocket.

Chicken or the egg?? Im not saying I do no tlike the putter, because I do :drinks: ...what I meant was "EVERY" all the OEM's just seem to consistantly have the same look. Its time for someone to go over the edge with a new design. Just my $.02

The putter looks good, but not a fan of the face milling. I will also moved the club byron stamp on bumper to the sole, so we could put our name or initials on the bumper. 007 stamp on heels can move to the sole also, it will look good with just the vertical club byron. I also want the neck edges to be softened a bit. JAT

Can we request to customize this putter to what we want?

The face milling pattern is called Twilight and Byron is the only one doing it. This batch looks to be even better than the 006 Test Type with a tighter spiraling. If it is anything like the Test Type, in person it looks holographic.

Regarding the comments on the stampings, guys, bear in mind this is first batch is a VERY limited run of Maker's Proofs for the 007. The stampings are all being done by hand and are just text.

The stampings shown on the 1st ONE above on the bumpers above are just to demonstrate where your name could go.

Work is still being done on the Club Byron waveform logo. Go, Ryan, Go!!

Byron would like to gather some feedback from the owners of the Maker's Proofs to refine the design BEFORE he goes into production with a larger run, so what you are seeing here is simply the first off the line of the new model. Testers, if you will.

Byron will customize to a limited degree, and there will be extra charges to compensate for the time it takes to hand stamp if you want to go wild.

Steve Z (zmangolf) is handling all of the sales orders.

Wrong.

It's an updated Dale Head 11 / X-11, which predates the 009. There are striking similarities, but the Dale Head 11 was first.

This is Pitbull808's:

Great looking putter. I'm excited to see the production models.

Wow the new 007 is nice. But 006 vs 007, i'll probably go for the 006 because of its squarish features. Is it just me or anybody else feels the same way ? Anyways 007 is still a beauty, nice job byron!

I'm just the opposite. I prefer the more rounded look. The 007 shape is exactly what I'm looking for in a putter. But like you said, the 006 is there for you. Thank you Byron Golf for finding a way to make everyone happy. :drinks:

Truth be told Scotty has copied more putters from Byron than the other way around you just have to do a little research before spouting off :D ....I'd put my 006 proto up against any Cammy I've ever had and I've had many....

I cant stop looking at the pics. the 007 is absolutely awesome. There are some incredible upgrades from Byron's DH11 found in the 007... and remember guys the 009 is basically a DH11. DH11 was milled before the 009. The 007 is an UPGRADE to the 009. let's not confuse this with a 009 copy. Enough with that talk.

www.club-byron.com updates are coming VERY soon and Drew has some cool stuff up his sleave too.
