We'd just met and he looked at me like I was an idiot. Who's laughing now chiropractor boy?!!

Looks like he caresses it now at 115. Back injuries suck.

2i, 2i 645 onto the green?!? That's so awesome I wouldn't believe it if I didn't know your guys' backgrounds! Makes me realize no matter how much I practice I'll always be in a different league than any big hitter who can do that and still control the accuracy.

Unsure of which claim you are referring to but the muffinman can really smoke it. I work in the same company as him and play golf with him once a week during the season and I have never seen another player hit it quite like him. I think i said it earlier in the thread but I hit the ball over 3 on trackman myself and Muffinman flies mine in the air when he catches it. He is also the guy that will buy a new driver setup to gain a couple yards even if there is nothing wrong with what he has already... I benefit by getting to try and buy some of his "stale" equip. One of the videos he put up i was standing behind the guy taking video and all i could do was laugh when he hit it.

Sure he might be a little odd but given his comedic personality I think most of the threads he started on here before ban were either equipment reviews, hypothetical questions or joke topics to get people talking like that pyramid thread he started as a joke to see how many pages it would go... he was so occupied with keeping that thread going i think he got in trouble at work.

I saw thrill house carry 2 iron 282 over the front lip of a bunker onto a par 5 green from a fairway in a practice round at a different course too. I shot it with laser because I didn't
believe it. Then I pulled out a sleeve and a tee and tried to duplicate it with driver. I got it barely on the third ball. Told him to F off He used to hit his long irons soooo far but then he got hurt. Even last year I saw him hit a 7 iron 220 over a tree onto the front. It was 230 to the hole.

Rexwrx and I were playing last fall and he said to me " how far on thus shot" I said "you want to hit it 245 at the right bunker."
He looks at me funny and says " dude, how far to the green?" I'm like "WHAT?! Use your head it's over 310 carry over the water and there's water long too." Hits 13* onto the green. Told him to F off too. I like telling long hitters to F off. It's a hobby...

Curious which swing you are referring to that "ain't gettin it done"? That vid of the face on driver where he walks after it I was there standing behind the tee box. Flag lasered was 336 and the muf flew it to the back fringe in sub 50* weather. I suppose the tempo of the swing could be deceiving but are we talking about the same person?

How on earth am I seeing this thread for the first time now? Anyways, happy to see my name included, so thanks for that Sheriff. As others have mentioned, there is such a circle jerk and many back handed comments thrown around about how guys here say they hit it far, but really don't - it gets old fast. Most fitting carts, even at demo days, rarely offer what my swing requires. It's nice to have a place where people with a similar profile to myself are be able to discuss what works best for us. I'd also instantly give up yardage for more consistency and/or and improved short game.
