Where to find JDM equipment....

Hi everyone,

 

I need to make some changes to my bag and wanted to try some overseas technology, but I am clueless where to get the stuff or where you can try it out ? Any general info would be helpful.

 

Are people just ordering it on a wing and a prayer over the net ?

I found a set of Miura wedges in the used section as Golf Galaxy... they were in perfect shape...as I was paying the manager mentioned they had an iron set from the same guy who traded in the wedges but the clubs werent on the floor as they couldnt price them.... it was a barely used set of Miuras PP 9003 5-Gap wedge.... I walked out with a 54 and 60 degree black Miura wedge and a set of PP 9003 all with KBS Tour shafts for under $600.... pays to check out the used club section

You can't beat Chip. I've called him on a Tuesday morning with a special request and the club was made up and I had a tracking number late that afternoon; the club was in play on Wednesday.

I second Tourspecgolf.com. My ordering process has been very smooth and informative. I dealt with Tario at TSG, and his service was a top notch. Also, TSG was one of few places that I could trust in terms of authenticity.

The Golf Station is where I've been going for about 3 years now. They have some crazy options. Pretty much, if it exists, they can get it.

I was in the same boat as you. I went down to fairway golf in san diego this week and they have a great selection. I was able to demo several heads and get fitted. They also built up a yururi gekku wedge for me. Miguel was the guy I worked with and he was top notch. I suggest calling them and talking through your questions. They have an online shop you can order through as well.
