Saw this on twitter. Some one named Johan Kok was asked when the course will open and he said "Probably later this fall but if you want a preview let me know. Will start hosting some small groups in May."

So I guess if you have connections you could get on and try it out. I don't so I guess I won't. Don't like the going private later on bit. Doesn't that area have enough private exclusive clubs already? Don't like my chances of getting to see it so I think I'll stop looking at it when I drive by.

I think that guy is married to Dawn Davenport from ESPN and news 2 in Nashville. He is a golfer or golf coach, I think.

Says it won't officially open until spring of 2016. Said Williamson Co won't let them open until pool house is complete. Not sure why that is. I hope to get more info soon.

I don't think Johan Kok is Scott Stallings coach. When I looked it up on Google, it says Brad Rose is his coach. And I agree that a Spring 2016 opening is disappointing. Was hoping for Summer 2015.

Just FYI, Brad Rose is the head pro at Willow Creek here in Knoxville and for sure is Scott Stallings coach.

That's what we've been told the last 4-5 years. Maybe this will be it. Any word on getting on to play?

Working on that. I do know there are some spots open on that Williamson Co tourney previously posted, but not many.

I am very disappointed in that news(opening next year). It must be true as Alexander never had the courtesy of returning my voice mail. All I asked him was when he projected an opening date of the course. The silence continues at this course now going on 7 plus years...Hopefully, they will have senior rates because very many of us will be a senior when the course finally opens. Hopefully, its like a fine wine that ages well.

I signed up for the email updates back when we found out about the name change and I didn't get a single email from anyone. Not really surprised. Like I said we are not their target customers.

Course will be Semi-Private at first and opening Spring of 2016 per latest comments on Facebook(May 20th). Greens and Fairways getting punched this past week.

Welcome to the GolfWRX community Johan! Looking forward to a course preview as Matt has said above. I met you at Temple Hills a few years ago during a membership drive. Any thoughts of opening the practice facilities(driving range,putting green,short game area) before the course opens next Spring?

Nice pics! Like we were discussing, the latest news on the delay of the course opening is the fact that they have no paved road to the clubhouse. Otherwise, the course looks to be very playable.

Spoke to a Head pro today and he thinks green fees could be around $50.00 if they go semi private which is likely. That would be playable for me for at least a few rounds per month.

Hello,

I wanted to update everyone on the course and what's happening at Hideaway at Arrington. We are getting ready to host the Williamson County Chamber Golf Outing on June 24th and the course is coming along nicely. After the outing we will start releasing the membership and public play rates. The greens still have some work to be done but will be great shape by the end of summer. The fairways are being lowered to playable height today and are in great shape for the most part. I have an opportunity if anyone is interested to come and play the course. Here is the deal.

I just received our sprinkler head yardages in the mail and need some help putting them on before the Chamber Event. Anyone who is interested we plan on meeting at the course at 10:00 am Sunday, June 21 to swap them all out and then go and play the course after we are done. Please email me at [email protected] if you are interested and I'll give you directions to which entrance to use.
