Drove by the course today. Looks like the road in from the Cox Road side has a layer of asphalt down now. Lots of landscaping done there on both sides of the entrance too.

Gents,

First of all thank you for all the support during our National Championships last week in Philadelphia. As you can imagine I have a lot going on before the PGA at Whistling Straits. We are going to start doing play days after the PGA and I want you guys to be the first group to participate. Our first play day will be Thursday, August 20th to preview the course at 12:30pm. Please email me at [email protected] to reserve your spot. We will have room for 20 golfers on the 20th and look forward to hosting everyone. I will make sure everyone from this forum will have a chance to play this summer and fall. We should have a sales trailer up by the 20th with my office located in there. This will be located at the top of the hill where the future clubhouse will sit. If you go on our facebook page there is a nice preview of the clubhouse.

Quick update on the course. All greens and fairway have been aerified this past week and are really starting to come in nicely with the warm temperatures. We used the putting green to make some repairs to the greens that have been damaged over the years and have re sprigged the putting green. Fairways and rough look really good and on schedule. Bunkers continue to be worked on and some additional sand has been added to several bunkers.
