Seeing a whole bunch more XR16 driver heads in play than I expected to, and not even the Pro model. Really pumped for mine to get here now!

Seems a lot of pro's opt for the non-pro versions of newer drivers. With hotmelt you can lower the cg and add weight to equal the numbers of the pro drivers but keep the moi and forgiveness of the larger 460 heads.

Is that tungsten weights drilled in the heel and toe?

I didn't realise he'd left Titleist. Then again it's no surprise, as everyone leaves Titleist eventually.

Its not about the money with these guys. I believe Jason gore said pretty much that exact thing in his WITB thread if I remember correctly. Unless you're the face of the brand it's not making or breaking your bank from one manufacturer to the other. Its about what performs and what they believe will perform for them.

Is he evaluating different grip styles? I see a couple of wrap-types along with a non-wrap model. First time I've seen Pure grips used by a touring pro, but I'm not shocked. Definitely a quality product.

Probably a lot more than $100. They don't use the production model -- his has custom tungsten weights and a custom welded slant neck and red sight line.

And likely he will put better with it, these guys don't tend to care how much something costs it is irrelevant because they have it provided for no cost anyway.
