Both are really nice clubs.. the head on the TB TP sets up WAAAY better.. its open, vs LTD is more square and moderately closed..

The feel is great on both clubs, i feel like the TB TP swings a little heavier (however, i know the LTD can be configured any way you want)

Off the shelf, I'd vote for the TB TP, launches also a lot lower than the LTD..

I hit both with Diamana Whitboard X's

i actually have both!! the tbtp in a 9.5 w/ diamana stiff and the r7 limited with matrix stiff also in a 9.5. contrary to what the other poster says, i find i hit the tbtp higher than the ltd!! length is about the same i'd say. but feel!! the tp is a much better feel!! the ltd, whether it's the head, or shaft or both, is a bit more harsh!! i think both are very nice drivers!! the best on the market i've tried. i'd say the decision is on your ability. if you need gi in your driver go with the r7 ltd, if you can work it, then tp all the way!!!

for me its not even close.. the tour burner tp in my opinion is one of the best clubs TM has ever released whereas the limited is just another 'ok' driver.

Just to be different... and since I don't bag either, I don't have anything at interest here, but I LOVE the R7 Limited.

I mean you gotta hit these yourself to be sure, but I just can't beat what the R7 LTD does for my driving. The weight adjustibility which is second to NONE is just a pure bonus.

Although I can't stand the cheezy ads on the shaft, the shaft itself is very smooth. I have been wanting to pull the trigger on a new driver for about 2 months, every week I test whatever is new/shiny, and every week the new (insert club o' the week name here) club falls to the R7 Limited. The head is compact, instills confidence. Also without adjusting anything, I find it has the most repeatable ball flight I've seen to date. Baby draw... baby draw... all day long. I can handle that.

Just hit them both, be honest with yourself. If price is an issue, or the fact the R7 line is t**** up, then you may just want the Burner, but for pure performance reasons, hit them both.

Really wanted to like the Limited...........MWT and shape..........but after hitting it vs. the "HOLY GRAIL"Tour Burner TP.........feel as others have said, shaft(whiteboard) and face angle.........feel(mostly the shaft I think) I probably the key.............can't speak on trajectory..........didn't hit the limited outdoors.

Go TBTP and you won't have any regrets!!! :D

I hit both with the Diamana WB as stated before.. the TB TP wins for me.. Feels better, hotter, and looks way better at address.. the LTD is still VERY good though.. it goes higher than the TB TP w/ the same shafts.
