well, the reason I want to switch is because i have been getting an inconsistant role the way I have been putting. I have been lining the ball up towards my front foot so i can look down the line, I have improved my 3-8 footers a ton but longer puts sometimes the ball hopps on me and comes up way too short. I have a mallet rife and I like the way that rolls but I like a blade putter better.

I think you meant platinum card...

Rife makes some of the best putters in the game IMO they were ahead of the curve on the grooved putters.

PuttingDoctor if you can get your hands on a tour issued rife holla at me because I would like one as well..I'm a huge rife fan but have never come across any myself either no matter where I look...would take anything that is blade style...

couldnt resit, but i had one last year and regret getting rid of it but from what i can tell it looks legit but a better pic of the sole would be a deciding factor, but i am not a south paw'er

I've also wondered about a center shafted deep blue. Saw a picture of one been wanting it ever since.

Sorry to say that of the new 2010 line not one of them is a LH. For blades is going to be the black Aussie, mallets in Barbados, 2 bar Hybrid, in stock at Rife.

Last January prior to the show in Orlando I was in the studio at RIFE and rolled the Deep Blue. Loved it and asked when I could have one in center shaft. The reaction was a chorus of rolled eyes.

Good news for all you RIFE fans is that we're a couple of weeks away from a wave of new 2010 inventory is arriving in the next two weeks.

I have a Tour issue Aruba

I have been playing with the original two bar mallet. I thought it was great for alignment and getting the ball rolling. The only question I have is on the ditance control. I've been thinking about going to an Anser type putter and wondered about the Rife tour blade type and whether I would give up much distance loss on off centered contact?
Also does anyone find the grooves don't give the best distance control on the blade style versus non groove blades?

I have a heel shafted Guerin Rife 400 Mid-Mallet Tourthat I picked up in 2006. I am a gate swinger and have always preferred a blade. I usually break it out whenever they punch the greens or the 009 goes astray. In the past month my average putts per round has dropped from 29.3 to 26.0, and that's 23 rounds. The greens are back to normal now but I'm loving the results and it's gonna get an extended stay in the bag.

As luck would have it I picked it up at an estate sale for $20 thinking I'd give it to my son. I took it home, re-gripped with a Gripmaster Perforated Pistol and the putts just started falling. I've never seen or heard alot about this model as it appears to have been replaced years ago, but man what a mallet

I'm tellin ya, it's a very under-rated putter, and I'm on a hot streak. Since I last posted someone sent me an email showing this putter has been re-introduced by Rife. It seems as if they had alot of requests, so check one out for yourself. I am Not a mallet guy but I'm not chnging as long as it's working.
