Their prices look fairly normal with a lot of options on shaft up charges

I know this is an old thread being bumped for some reason, clearly this thread pops up as a search engine result. GolfUSA used to be an advertiser here, and they had a thread up (I think it was in this forum) with a 15% off anything (no restrictions) discount code. Search it, last I saw the code was still working, I think it's something like "WRX15" or "WRX" or something like that, you use it to buy a gift card, which you then used to purchase the product. It ends up being a sizeable discount when ordering something new at full price. I've ordered a few times from them, fantastic deals with the discount code and great customer service. Though I've only dealt with them online, every transaction I've done included personal communication thanking me for my order and regularly updating shipping information as they got it (since my orders shipped direct from the OEMs). I recommend highly, seem like a good bunch of guys.

Wanted some custom options, like -1/4, DG S200 AMT, etc. Globalgolf and Golf USA were the only two sites online where I could build my club from scratch; only GolfUSA had even more options...like very option. Looks like they have the market cornered on this. I just love the transparency of cost and ability to do what you want. I will certainly look up the code. Thanks!

2nd swing lets you customize Titleist too

TGW and FairwayGolfUSA are two others that have pretty solid online custom ordering. Global Golf isn't bad, either. I do think that GolfUSA's website offers the most complete customization online of anywhere I've seen. You can even soft/ hard step, tip shafts, align shaft and grip logos, and order custom grip wraps (such as 4 wraps bottom hand, 2 wraps top), all through their drop down selections.

Good to know. So far GolfUSA tops 2nd Swing and Global Golf...more custom options. I will check out the other two. The discount at GolfUSA seems money, though...no pun intended.

I could not find any evidence of a discount, however. The main GolfUSA page (with the discount) doesn't even offer the ap2 716s, and the rest of their inventory is limited. Looks like Discount Dan's is the place to go.

I had noticed that there seems to be two different versions of their website (the original and a beta version), and the newer, beta style site offers limited products. Not sure what's going on with them, with the website being weird and them no longer being a sponsor to advertise here. Hope things are going well for them, they always treated me well in my dealings.

Had an excellent experience with them today. Stopped in to buy a Titleist 716 T-MB and to inquire about being fitted for a driver. Was very informative in answering all my questions and was never pushy. Will go back to them again.

Just ordered from golfusa.com. Have never worked with them before so hoping it all goes smoothly. The website isnt the easiest to navigate but offered a good savings for the item i was looking for.

This was the first time I had ordered anything from Golfusa. I voiced a few concerns about not being familiar with the website as well as some of the functionality. Within 24 hours David followed up with me to address my concerns. He not only reassured me about the order going smoothly but swiftly made corrections to the issues that made ordering (slightly) more difficult.

To anyone considering ordering from Golfusa.com I would 100% recommend. They went above and beyond and the transaction could not of gone smoother.

Just thought id add to the list of very positive reviews for this company. Was skeptical about ordering a fully customized set of mizuno's online. Within minutes of placing the order, i had an email from a real person sent back confirming options and clarifying an issue i had with the grip selection i made. Order was placed with mizuno immediately after. Total turnaround from order date to delivery was 8 days (via fed ex ground from mizunos GA plant to NH). No overcharge above the standard mizuno MSRP per iron price, and free shipping. I was pretty impressed.

GolfUSA that used to sponsor WRX is legit. Their website doesn't get updated that often, but call them and talk to them. Prices are great there and they have accounts with everyone

Just wanted to bump this thread up, in case anyone is shopping around for a club with custom options. Been shopping for a TS2 3 wood with custom options, so on a whim checked out GolfUSA’s website. Next I was wondering if the old discount code worked, which I couldn’t remember, so Google landed me on this thread. Long story short, the “WRX” 15% off code does still work (plus free shipping). I just placed the order, so no report on whether it is the same great service I’ve gotten in the past. But, it was definitely the same great deal I’ve gotten in the past. Hopefully this post doesn’t keebosh the discount code for others.

I know that in the past, for items discounts were forbidden, you could use the code to buy an e gift card and use the gift card to buy the item (buy gift card for amount of the item you want to purchase, enter discount code at checkout for the card). If I remember correctly, it did take a little time for the email containing the gift card number to arrive (within an hour, but not immediately), so possibly an actual person had to review the purchase before issuing the e card. So could be too big of an ask that for to still be functioning - if I had to guess, GolfUSA's sponsorship here ended at least a couple years ago.

Yep - this is correct. They gave a discount on the gift card. Took a few emails (or PMs - he was fairly active on this site for a time). That’s how I bought a set of Mizunos. But for some reason I think they stopped doing it. But don’t take that as fact - I’m not sure.

They’re no longer sponsors here, which is why I was surprised the “WRX” discount code still worked. So it won’t surprise me if it doesn’t stay active much longer. But who knows? They probably enjoy the traffic, and there’s probably some meat still left on the bone for them even with 15% off.

I was just curious, because it seemed to work when I just was messing around. I added a custom HMB to my cart and added the WRX code and it took. I did not proceed as far as checking out though, so not sure if something stops you before final checkout.
