I play/practice about the same amount as you, and FJ WeatherSof's are my glove of choice. Keep four or five in the rotation at all times, and switch out multiple times during a round. The real trick, however, is to rub some anti-perspirent on your palms to keep the sweating down. Doing this, I might buy one glove a month...but certainly no more than that.

I started wearing the FJ Rain Glove full time from July on. It gets better when wet and since I sweat it works out great. I was playing 6/7 rounds a week and I rotated 4 of em and they lasted from July-Oct and still looked nice. Also, since my final day tourney and Inter-Club swat attire was pink/black, the black glove went well, lol.

Ya get a left and a right glove for like $20-22, so if ya know a lefty, give him/her one.

The best with your search :)

I play around 6 days a week in the summer, playing or practicing and i find i go through gloves way to quick, nike seems to hold up the best, FJ weather soft have holes after around a week to two weeks. Just wondering what you guys had for a durable and lasting golf glove.

The solution to this is to find a glove that fits you well and buy 4-5 of them. Every 9 holes rotate a glove. You'll get 2-3x more rounds out of a single glove than you would have if you wore the same one everyday.

Recently I was given a sample Zero Friction golf glove. This is the longest lasting glove I have ever used. It's been hot and muggy here in Hawaii and I've been on the driving range several days a week. This glove is just hanging in there. It doesn't look very good at this point, but it still goes on easily and has good grip. Highly recommended.

In my opinion, it's head and shoulders ahead of Footjoy, Bridgestone, and Mizuno for lasting and still being useable.

If you're looking for something very durable, have you ever considered a baseball batting glove? Those tend to be thicker.

I know it was mentioned that once you find one that you like, get a few of them and rotate. That's great advice AND to add to that it's also a great idea to buy in bulk. A lot of times you can find a "lot" of them on ebay, cheaper by the dozen type of thing.

Good luck!

I'm a big fan of the Hirzl Trust Control.
Big +1... I was going through them like nuts until I got these... I have Trust Feel pair since last November which I replaced because the leather on the index finger(calf leather) started going because that is where I move the controls on the electric cart.
I sweat in my hands a lot and they were great.

Unbelievable in the wet too...

This is exactly the same glove that I use. They don't last as long as the other ones mentioned in this thread, but you can't beat the price per unit!

MG - So far best 13 bux for two gloves I have ever spent....

Florida heat and humidity. 8 rounds...

I take it off between shots and hang it on the "oh shiz handle" of the cart so that it catches the air like a windsock. this keeps it dry.

I sweat a lot, so I am sure it won't last more than a few more rounds, but I spend 50 bux and got 8 gloves.

.... I WIN.....

I refuse to pay $15 - $20 for a golf glove and I do not like the synthetic gloves with the patch in the palm and thumb area. I buy the Intech cabretta leather gloves usually in quantities of 15 to 24 every couple of years. I pay less than $5 per glove.I think the last ones I bought came out to just over $4 per glove. I can usually get 5 top 7 rounds out of one in the summer months before it starts looking pretty dirty. I put the glove on, use dish soap and a brush, rinse it off, put it between newspaper to dry. Some come out ok, some do not. They usually make pretty good practice gloves.
