I like the cosmetics of these better than the ie1's.

That circle in the middle is calling out for a Ping Man!

I'm considering upgrading from my G20's to these but I haven't seen many comments on them by users yet. Anyone out there hit them yet? I'm an "old guy" that needs all the help he can get. I like the looks of them in the pics.

Current Bag:
Adams XTD Ti Driver
Adams XTD Hybrids
Ping G20 irons
Bobby Jones 56 S Wedge
Scotty Studio Newport 2 Putter

"Hanger Queens" (Have to be an A/F Vet to get this)
Nike VRS irons
Adams XTD irons
Taylormade R1 Driver(s)
Taylormade SLDR Driver
Taylormade Jetspeed Driver

Soooo much offset. I get that they are suppose to have it but I would have such a hard time lining them up. I'm sure they'll be another great iron from ping though.

They may be offset a bunch but I just shot the lowest round of the year for myself and these irons are THE REAL DEAL. longer than my RSI1 for me and I hit all greens in regulation (hitting the driver well helps...derrr) The only thing I dislike is the 'pingy" sound of 5-7 irons. My Pre-ordered AP1s may be DOA if this keeps up!

I am getting a set of these today. I will let everyone know how they perform as soon as I can get on the course.

Love to hear your feedback.

I have played 2 rounds with these in my bag, and I will say WOW! The first round that I played with these, I was 9 shots better than I have ever shot before, and the second round, I shot about the same. Even on the off center shots, still as straight as can be. I hit several shots towards the toe of the club, but didn't lose that much distance. Short irons had great response and feedback. I hit my 8 iron almost 170 yards. I haven't been happier with a purchase ever. My coach is even in awe of these 2 rounds!

Just got myself a set, came from i20 and g25. I usually shoot 83-86 range, not sure what handicap that is. Iron play has always been the weakest part of my game, finally decided lets play the easiest club you can find to hit. Let me just say I love my big girls. I have hit shots in the last two weeks that have made my jaw drop. Usually any par 3 over 150 yards was going to be a struggle for me. Now I hitting almost every green I look at and sometimes sticking them for easy birdies. I don't care if you can stand to look at them or not, I am taking my partners money every time we play since I got these clubs.

I just ordered mine today. Ball flight is high but they are at least a club longer than my RSI1. Truthfully the demo 7 iron with the xp 95 regular flex was easily flying further than my RSi1 6 iron especially on shots low on the face. The bottom white scoring line made them a breeze to line up. I'm excited about 2016 now for sure.

I play the New Ping ie's with the XP 95's in Reg and just pick up a Brand New Gmax 4-UW w/Reg.

I know there are a lot of people down on the looks of these clubs but the performance of the long irons cannot be ignored. I just picked up ie1s in September and added a gmax 4 iron that was bent to 19degrees. It allowed me to remove the 5 wood and 3 wood from my bag. It gave me a consistent scoring club from 245 yards to 230 (choked down). This has helped my scoring on par 5s and tough driving par 4s because it is dead straight when hit from the tee. These clubs are effortless distance and accuracy.
