PGA and Trump

Trump should say what's really on his mind. That is a lot more than most of the other aspiring presidential candidates do. Most pander to those who demand PC and are offended by opinions that differ from their own. Honesty is an attractive quality. Certainty about what a potential president is thinking and striving for is a lot better than what we have gotten in our recent presidential elections.

Trump said nothing wrong in his commentary. He said what he believes, and what is probably accurate. The PGA are, by their actions, pandering to a small number of politically motivated Trump opponents, who are not Mexican. The PGA are a bunch of wimps for whom I have lost all respect. This is the USA where freedom of speech should be respected, especially the words of a potential presidential candidate, even if you disagree.

I feel that people really need to educate themselves on other countries immigration policies before they start screaming "RACIST! BIGOT!" to what Trump said and what's actually happening a few hours from where I live. Letting in everyone is bad for the country. Period. We should be cherry picking those that will contribute to society, not drain from its resources and citizens. You should have to prove an income and education, as well as a plan as to what you're going to do. There should be a 5 year period where you cannot vote and must be in good standing order, with a sort of 3 strikes you're out rule in place. We cannot afford to take in every countries tired, sick, weak and poor. Especially with the amount of homeless and needy American citizens we have right now.

ou totally missed his point. What he said was golf courses are failing all over the country and that golf is over built. Unlike basketball and soccer which can be played by the masses, maybe golf is something one should aspire to through education and earning more money. Not far off really considering the state the golf courses are in today.

All this Trump hoopla peaked my curiosity. As of right now, illegal immigrants make up 27% of Federal prison inmates. In 2014, ......37% of federal sentencing was handed down to a illegal.

The illegals make up 3-4% of the population according to the USSC, and make up 36-37% of convictions in federal courts.

As a Brit, who has yet to visit the USA (a mega trip planned for my 50th), what is the consensus on President Trump? I have reasonable handle on US life but am amazed someone who has never held even the lowest government or political office could win. Your system is radically different to that in the UK and most of Europe. Will he be able to implement all his pre-election promises or will his view of the planet change once he gets the full picture explained to him?
