WTB: Bandon Solstice Partner

Gentlemen,

 

I have been attempting to partake in the Bandon Solstice event for some time, and was fortunate enough to book 2 spots for the 2019 event. It will take place June 17-June 19th 2019. The actual playing day is the 18th, and as you all should know, it promises to be a a long and painful day that will bestow eternal glory (not really, but i like to think so) on its participants.

 

Since i cannot play as a single, and all of my golfing friends are either too cheap or not crazy enough to fly from Miami, i need to fill the spot or risk having to cancel.

 

A little bit about myself, I am a 30 year old golfer from Miami, usually score in the 80´s (with the ocassional round in the 70´s and unfortunately some in the 90´s mixed in to keep me humble) and have been to Bandon a few times before. I would like to find someone who is interested in tagging along for this. Most importantly, given the nature of the event, i think a certain compatibility between us would be important. After all, we will spend roughly 25 miles and 72 holes (not to mention room and board) together.

 

I had mentioned this a while back on a solstice topic and had a few guys reach out to me, but i unfortunately emptied my mailbox like an idiot and lost the usernames.

 

The reservation i made includes lodging at the Lilly Pond for 2 nights (checking in the 17th and out the 19th), the green fees, breakfast and all the activities that come with the Solstice event such as welcome reception and farewell dinner.

 

The price per person is $1,485. It would be best to get some basic information about you, and chat a bit to make sure wed be a good match. After that, payment would have to be made in full (Bandon already charged me the entire amount $2,970), and in case you cant make it or have to cancel, you would forfeit that amount since that would leave me screwed big time. Id be out of the cash and likely out of the event!

 

To sum it up, i am hoping to find a likeminded golf nut who wants to participate in this event with me. I am hoping to finalize the selection ASAP as i have to take the days off from work, book flights, etc as it is a huge mission to make it out there from my neck of the woods.

I believe I saw a video from EAL about this and it looks super fun but super brutal. Half way through everybody was popping advil and hoping they'd make it through the day haha.
