I liked this shaft, but it just lacked pop.

About 30 lbs of pure muscle...

No seriously.. not entirely sure what you mean by how much difference? It's half a flex so you need about 5-10MPH more swing speed to be able to consistently load it up properly. As far as ball flights, should not be much at all if you compare a 6.0 @105MPH vs 6.5 @110MPH.

I ask because generally torque decreases as you go stiffer in flex. That is not listed as the case with these shafts. I think I should probably go for the 6.0 given that is what I play in Hzrdus black. I don’t think I could do 6.5 in the black so from what I’ve read the EFW would be similar > @mister2cool said:

I think traditionally torque and flex does correlate that way but that may not be the case anymore with modern construction with newer material.

If you use HZRDUS Black in 6.0, I think you should stick with 6.0 in EFW. The thing though is you would probably **FEEL **EFW being much softer at the same flex compared to HZRDUS Black. It's just the EF profile has more of a smooth feel than HZRDUS profile.

I'm as late to trying this shaft as I am to this discussion, but I wanted to give my two cents.

I spent 3 years in a proforce vtx silver 6x and this since lifting a lot more and getting stronger, decided to seek out something a bit stouter. I tried the fuji speeder pro ts which I liked but the 7x was a bit heavy. I am currently gaming the ef white in a 6x which may be a hair light for me but still better than 7x probably.

I have found that this shaft is very long for me given the added bit of "kick" that I am feeling near the handle, with my smoother swings this shaft has been perfect; however, I have been tugging it left when I step on it a bit. Not sure if this has been other people's experience or not but I'm struggling to decide whether the extra couple yards is worth the slightly worse miss.
