I was fitted this afternoon for a 75g 6.5 in a TS2 10.5. Great feel and ball flight, just not enough ball speed/distance to beat my gamer........

The ball speed with this shaft i have found to be down a little. The Smoke will get you higher ball speeds than the white. The white, on the other hand has the best dispersion of any shaft I have ever tried. It does come with a bit of give and take as all equipment options do i guess. You just have to decided what you want to take and what you want to give.

Yes, tried the smoke too, but the numbers dropped a little. Tried the EF 65 6.5 and I launched it lower(!?!), but the EF 75 6.5 was the sweet spot. Fortunately my jBEAM Glorious/Fujikura Speeder VT 7.0x combo (2014/2010 vintage I think) was too much for it and was (just) the outright winner. I will say that the TS2 and 3 sounded, er....weird, but that's for a different thread.

Is the Evenflow T1100 counterbalanced like the Hzrdus T1100?

The evengliw white is not counterbalances. None of the evenflow line is. I don't believe the hzrdus t1100 is either. I was under the impression only the hzrdus yellow was counterbalanced

HZRDUS T1100 is counter balanced but the EF T1100 is pretty tip heavy. From the few that I've built it swing weights about 4 or 5 points heavier than normal non-counter balanced shafts.

I wonder if that is part of the reason I like it, excited to try it in the driver.

I need to get these out on course, but liked what I saw at the sim yesterday, ball just seemed to go straight.

Compared to the PO, seems softer tip, firmer handle.

The handle is definitely stiffer than the Pro Orange but the tip of the EF White is really really stiff so I'm not sure the tip is softer than the PO. The reason the EFW is so tip heavy is that they reinforced the tip with the T1100 material and it is pretty beefy.

After speaking with someone that profiles shafts, the EF White is most similar to the Fujikura Atmos TS Black, with the EF White being a bit more tip stiff

This is correct the EFW is stiffer in the butt end and marginally stiffer in the tip than Pro orange but pro orange is quite a bit stiffer in the mid section. another thing to consider is the PO is counterbalnced so if you build them to identical swingweights some more mass in the head of the PO will contribute to softening it up just a touch as well. I have played both and currently playing PO as it seems to load a little easier and launch and spin a touch less than EFW for me. That being said I am always tinkering and trying new things when the weather allows me.

I am really curious about this shaft compared to the evenflow black. I bought one off ebay but it showed up being a 6.5 so I had to send it back. Will most likely look for another before spring. For guys who have played both the black and white is there a big difference that warrants trying the white. I have been told too stick with the same flex in both but not sure how much firmer the white would b.

hit it really well in the driver, little inconsistent with 3w, but again, in the 40's, have not played in a month.

I liked it enough to keep testing.

That's what I am finding difficult at the moment. I got fitted into with the TS3 a few months ago now but since it arrived at the beginning of October I think I have been out on the course with it maybe 4-5 times max and only played 9-12 holes a time and then a couple of hits at the range due to the weather being so cold and my hand hurting. Can't wait to get fit and healthy and get the chance to get out there with it more.

I have played both in 6.0 65g. The white is only marginally stiffer than the black, and launch is almost the same with EFW maybe just a touch lower. You will get very identical flights with both. The difference, to me at least, is that EFW is a little more demanding to have a more consistent aggressive swing , where the EFB doesn't quite demand that in every single swing. By aggressive, I don't mean to swing as hard as you possibly can, rather keeping an aggressive but smooth acceleration well into the follow through. In other words, I found EFW to be a bit less forgiving than EFB and amplifies any minor flaws in your swing rhythm

I played the white for a little while and went back to Black, as I was having a more difficult time keeping the driver under control as the rounds went to the last few holes unless I was willing to swing easier, and some days when I had a 2nd round it was giving me a handful in the afternoon. A tired body is more likely to have hiccups in keeping the swing aggressive and smooth.

I am in mid-40's so your physical condition maybe different.

I find them pretty similar but i find the white to feel smoother.

So if I played a rouge in x flex and an Atmos black in x should I stay with 6.5 in the white or drop down to 6.0?

Definitely stay with the 6.5

I’ve hit it several times in the Titleist TS drivers & the 6.5 plays like a normal X flex.

Where are you guys buying these from? Ebay and online only has non-handcrafted, made in china shafts. Are you all playing the handcrafted version? That logo was always the distinction I was looking for to know where it was a high-quality, made in the USA shaft, now I don't know what I'm looking at. Plus all the handcrafted versions that are on ebay, the paint jobs are horrible. The white is really thin in many spots and the black graphite underneath is showing through a lot. Thanks guys!!

You wont find them.

PX didn't make a handcrafted version of this shaft prior to making the decision to abandon "handcrafted production" and moving all production overseas. Any of the Handcrafted EF T1100 shafts you see on Ebay are most likely NOT the actual shaft. PX painted some blanks with the early graphics package, which included the handcrafted logo, and sent them to retailers only to show what they would look like... the shaft blank used was NOT the actual shaft.

Got this right from the source. There are only about a dozen or so shafts with the hand crafted logo on them that made it out into the wild outside of tour. So yes there are some but not many.

That is not entirely accurate. Those of us on True Temper test panel all received test samples with Handcrafted logos straight from TT. Somoene mentioned earlier that TT never made an aftermarket batch of handcrafted version, and that is probably the case, and explains why the handcrafted version are so hard to find.

The question raised very early on was that there were non-handcrated version showing up on Ebay and selling for a ton of money when there should have been none made outside of the lab. TT pointed out that they did have a few product samples with only a paint scheme to show OEMs and those did not have HC logo and were indeed not T1100 shafts at all, and they had no idea how any of those could have gotten out.

As far as the paint job, yeah it is not the most impressive even on our test samples. The white was definitely hand brushed on so it's not the most even or smooth, and there's no clear coat on top. Compare to the insanely expensive automotive chrome paint on the HZRDUS T1100, the white paint on EF is the total opposite. However, the white actually held up much better than the chrome paint. I don't know if the paint job is different on the OEM (non-handcrafted) version though.
