OP, are you aware that there are services that will guarantee a.m. delivery? I know FedEx does, and the extra $75 tacked on to your sale price should have covered that. It seems you promised a service, and weren't aware of what you were promising. He said he wanted them Monday morning, and while that isn't a hoop I'd jump through to close a sale, there are services that will guarantee that delivery window.

 

Honestly, both of you aren't really representing yourselves well in this thread. You're both talking past each other and focusing on unimportant aspects and just ignoring details that should be addressed. You're both just repeating things that further your narratives and haven't actually engaged in productive discussion. Why not just lock this and agree to disagree, if neither of you are even serious about discussing like adults? Honestly, I don't think I'd want to deal with either of you after seeing this exchange happen like a train wreck in slow motion.

If the buyer was leaving town and needed the clubs before he left, how was he able to refuse delivery when they arrived? Don’t you have to be there physically in person to do that? Maybe not.

Not sure how I was made whole?  I closed the BST thread and took the clubs off the market in good faith based on the OP purchase.  Took over a week to get the clubs back and according to BST rules I can't relist them for another couple of weeks. 

Everybody is entitled to their opinion but if folks think it's cool or ok to commit to making a purchase and then refusing shipment because of a change of heart after the seller has fulfilled their end of the deal then I would love to get some of what those folks are smoking.  I could care less about the lousy $300 bucks - I make a lot more than that a day and frankly I'd rather donate the clubs to the 1st Tee than deal with an unethical buyer.

If all you are lacking to be made whole is relisting them, I’m not seeing anything worth getting so bent out of shape over. Just contact a mod and explain what went down. They will more than likely allow a relist without waiting the 30 days.

Shutting this down. Involved parties, contact me if you want it reopened to add a response. @Lobber feel free to relist the irons. The irons were "returned" by the buyer so it's exempt from the 30 days relist rule.
