Jordan Spieth vs Justin Thomas. Who has the best career?

I Agree that his #'s for those 2 years were very, very good .....but I'm looking at year in , year out consistency......look at Justin's or Dustin's stroke gained position since 2015......for the past 6 years neither has been out of the top 55.....mostly in the top 10.....YJS has those 2 seasons inside the top 10.....but 2 outside the top 100.....streaky?

Yeah he did looked .like the real deal - although the stats you listed are sligthly not correct I think you mean at the age of 23. Tiger turned 24 at the start of 2000 the rest is history but for sure Speith was a force to reckon with. You could say the same thing about Rory too. The game is very hard and I think people like Jack/Tiger made it look easy. That said there was also a lot of false hype with Speith and example was when someone journalist said Speith 2015 season was better than Tigers 2000. I mean really?????

Yes indeed. He was streaky good to start his career, and now can't capture the magic anymore. Though most will think if he didn't try to get more distance he would still be at least pretty good. Just says how delicate the golf swing could be. He went from world beater to middling PGA pro (as in middle of the top 150) in a short time.

I'm kind of indifferent to both of these guys (don't love or dislike). Speith's tally to date is clearly superior with JT on the better trajectory.

This week is a disappointment for Thomas though. Had been playing great this year/after the restart and completely bombs it this week. Hope he does not end up in the DL III / DJ camp (20+ wins but only 1 major).

I wouldn't bet strongly one way or the other which one has a better career. The issue is Spieth only needs to find it again for a short period given how much he's accomplished to date.
