I'm actually thinking of trying a yellow ball so the idiots on the course stop coming into the wrong fairway and picking up my ball thinking it's the ball they just sliced into the other fairway. You know, cause its too hard to actually know which ball you play.

+1 this is one of the reasons I play the yellow (Z and Z-star) and also I play alot of Twi-light and the ball works beautifully in low light conditions.

I find the X to be a bit longer and spin is still great into the greens. I prefer the feel of the Z-Star though it is just so smooth. For me the durability demolishes the Penta/B330/ProV lines by a mile. I played the same ball (Z-Star) for 18 holes on Saturday and it looks almost brand new. What I have found with the Z-Stars (in Yellow) is that I can play the same ball for multiple rounds and usually I will lose it before I feel that it needs to be changed out. When I play the Pro V1 or X I get about 9 holes if I am hitting a lot of wedges before there are multiple teeth marks and some good shredding of the cover. I will play the Z-Star (in yellow) 100 of 100 times over the Pro V1's. They are great balls and do everything wonderfully.

I love the Z Star Yellow. I had played Top Flite yellows back when i first started playing, and noticed then I saw the yellow far better than the white. But once I got a little better, well I needed better performance than the Top Flites could give. When I saw Srixon had come out with the yellow ball, I had to check it out. I probably give a little bit of distance off the tee, but the control into the greens and the feel off the putter is second to none. I have made the switch, and hope Srixon keeps on making them.

I love the Z Star yellow. I have never been one to really care what ball I used but always rotated a few favorites and I think I may be sticking to one from now on and thats the yellow. The feel ,to me, is among the best out there and the yellow really helps me track the ball not to mention the durability of this ball blows everything else out of the water. My friends get a good giggle out of them but I always end up getting the last laugh.

I have played the white Z-Star for the past couple of months. It "was" the best ball I have ever played--I've played the yellow Z-star the past four rounds. The yellow is now the best ball I have ever played. It is so easy to follow the ball flight, and then find it if not in the short stuff. I have not noticed any drop off in terms of length. Performance around the green is identical to the white star. I think Srixon should refer to the yellow Z-star as the Y-Star and Y-Star X.

Anyone know any places I can get a good deal on these. These are my favorite balls and i love them and want to stock up! Are they ever going to discontinue them?

GPP.com has them on sale right now.

But with $14 shipping I might as well buy locally.
