I currently have the 4-pw and 52 SS, 56 WS, and 60 SS in the bag, but depending on the course I will take out the 52 and 56, and go 3-pw, 54 SS, 60 SS. The versatility was definitely worth the extra money. I love the 56 WS for softer conditions and bunkers with soft sand.

My brother had that same 5 wood in his bag. One day I 'borrowed' it (because he was never going to use it properly). That thing was great. A few months later he took it back and sold. I not too proud to say that I shed some tears.

I love these irons! I have only played a couple of rounds with them, but they are so forgiving and easy to hit. I have had the zz65 in all my PING irons. (eye 2, I5, I10, and now these) I have always loved the shaft, and it still feels great in the I25

The Glides replaced the 2009 Callaway X-forged wedges. I have only played twice with the wedges, so it is too early to tell. I think I like them a lot, but I haven't had to hit many awkward shots with them yet. Also my distance control isn't so great yet with them because I hit them a little farther than my last set. I will tell you that they frame the ball very nicely, and they feel really solid. I like the white line in the bottom groove, and the Dylawedge grip is pretty cool.

What would you compare the zz65 to in terms of other shafts? I really do like the s300 but I get a balooning flight sometimes in the shorter irons. You have a nice set of clubs. Love the Ping stuff and the putter.

Also I wish I would have waited to buy wedges. The Glides are amazing. I like them better than my Gorges. I played an old set of Ping Tour wedges for almost 10 years. The Glides remind me of the same head shape as those old Tours. The Gorge are a little smaller to my eye and Im not a huge fan after hitting the Glides. I may be switching haha. Does the new wedge grip make a big difference on choked down shots?? Thanks for your service!

The shaft question is a tough question, and I am sure there are a lot of guys on here that can answer it better than me. I have only played PING shafts, and shafts from True Temper. I have played the s300 and the x100. I had the x100 in the set I just switched from. (Callaway Xforged 2009). I would say that the flex is between the s300 and the x100 and the shaft is a little lighter than both of those. For me personally, I have the same problem with the s300. I balloon the ball a little, especially with the short irons. The x100 was perfect for me when I was playing all the time, but now that I only play about once a week I have a hard time getting the ball in the air, especially with the long irons. For me the ZZ65 is a perfect medium. I also think it feels a little softer when you put the Cushion inserts in it. I know a lot of the PING staffers still use the ZZ65 including Billy Horschel who just won like 13 million dollars with them. They are certainly worth a look if you play PINGs.

I really like the Dylawedge grip. You just have to try it for yourself though. It is longer and it doesn't taper as much as a normal grip. I find the marks helpful to hit lots of different shots. I could see how guys would either love or really hate this grip. I love it, and I might try it on the rest of my irons when they need to be replaced.

This season I got my first brand new Scotty, and I swore it would be my last putter ever. I think it just started a problem though. I just ordered another one, and joined TCC. I am in trouble. Pics coming soon.

Thanks, I love the PING's too. They make golf that much easier when it is always so hard. Where in Florida are you from? I am from Deland, FL though I am currently living in Germany.

i25 driver with Xcaliber Shaft
G20 3 wood
G20 7 wood

4-U wedge i series yellow dot
54 & 58 Glide SS

And that Nome!

Lovely set up you have. I have the same zz65 shafts in my i25s. Very good for dispersion I have found. I was fitted at the Ping UK HQ and the zz65 tested most accurate by a mile for me.

Love the ZZ65. I had them in my I5's several years ago, and when I went back to PING's I really didn't consider any other shaft. They are light but still stable, and (like you say) shot dispersion is really tight. These irons will be in my bag for a long time.

I was browsing through a golf shop last week, and saw a Nome sitting against the wall. I had to putt with it for a while to see what all the hype was about .Nice Putter! I can see why you like it so much.

Like the bag. I too use i25's and have been fighting the urge to replace them. I'm never one to leave a stick early as I usually play the until they're worn out, but for some reason I'm just not getting along with them? It's got to be the arrow not the indian, right? LOL Hit em straight.

Ha, sorry I didn't see this from earlier. I live over by Tampa on the left coast of FL. Born and raised here. I've played many of tournaments in Deland, they have more undulation than our flatter coastal courses.LOL

So I had a chance to have a wood fitting done at the Taylormade Center of Excellence in Herzogenaurach Germany. (Near the Adidas Headquarters) It was a great experience, and I learned a lot about my swing. Ironically I really did not end up with woods that were that much different than what I already had.
