Like this...if your looking for higher bounce I would recommend the 213, seriously. Have gone head to head with the bold and the 213 just works better for me...softer, great feel. The bolds are very nice. The 50* stayed in my bag for quite a while. the bold holds it's line better than any other and the higher cog really results in good accuracy and control.

Wedges are so very personal, the bold is different and very effective but for me, contact is a bit crispy...

Are new JDM wedges really $400-500 USD in Japan? That's how much they are listed for on eBay.
eBay is for suckers...yahoo auction japan, rakuten, tourspecgolf or a longtime member on tsg are your best bests for good deals on premium JDM....
No and I leave and shop golf club all the time here in Japan. I would say the average new wedges are $200. Example the Titleist Cold Forged wedge I can get them new for $160.00 if I just go to the store right now..

Try the Yururi Raw Gekku wedges. Great JDM wedge for a reasonable price. About $130 for the head.

i had the syards they were ok not groundbreaking but pretty good.
have shifted to epon 52/58 in 213 stx and they are very forgiving and the higher
bounce and learning to use the bounce has really helped me in the 45 and below distance.

the 58 in particular is my most used wedge.

Miura 60K Grind would work - not silly high spin, but it's great out of tough lies around the green.

What would you guys recommend for a forged 60º with low bounce, but high spin, CC grooves and not much over $200? I was considering a Yururi Tour but that is 9º and I'd like a little less. I'm also looking at the Kasco Dolphin, but the graphics are kind of a turn off.

that 52 is pretty forgiving? Did you play the previous model at all? Not exactly a ton of info out there on the differences.

got myself a syard bold wedge.

feels so good ans spins like crazy!

is the bold wedge conforming and legal?
Yes, they are legal. I remember, they spin like mad first 100 strikes or so. They have good spin but not the most after I break em in. A very controllable wedge. Love hitting that skip and stop shot with them.

Really all the jdm wedges are great. I recommend getting a couple used ones from another member. Try some experimenting with heads and shafts. I could experiment in this category for decades and never get bored...

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
