I live in the bay area and you are right it has been a bit wet outdoors. Im trying to figure out what course that is. All this overthinking made your world turn sideways. Was suppose to play at Pajaro down in watsonville on saturday but rained out. They have some of the best greens in the bay area for sure and a little rain will do some of that fungus that they have growing hopefully disappear. Now I say on a rainy day hit up poppy ridge because that place drains pretty well.

Franklin drains "ok". About the only course that I know in the area to stay away from whenever it rains is Tilden in Berkeley. Drainage is supposed to be horrible

I notice on your Witb you play the 757 speeder. How do you like it? I have the 661 stiff and am thinking about getting the 757 or the tp7hd. Not sure.

I played Pajaro a few weeks ago. While I agree the greens were once some of the best in the bay, sadly they are currently nowhere near their former glory. The pro is my brothers old boss and he seemed pretty frustrated with the current situation. Cinnabar drains pretty well, although The Canyon gets a little wet since it's...in a canyon. The Mountain was in great shape on Saturday. I'm sure p ridge is great, but just seems a little far for those of us in the South Bay to head up to for a last minute round.

Yes, I myself love san juan oaks and cinnabar at this point. Pajaros defense has always been their greens. Its a shame. We spoke with the greenskeeper at san juan who was testing the roots on the 18th green and he said it went downhill once they brought a new greenskeeper in. He said they are using wrong fertilizer.

In fact, I would take it a step further. Text her that you're at a client dinner and won't be home until 10.

Bay Area golfers,

Spring Valley Golf Course in Milpitas drains really well and is in a position where the rest of the bay can be raining and they are dry. Example: Sunday I was able to play teeing off at 10:45 and finished with no rain while the rest of the east bay and the peninsula were getting drenched...
