Strangest Thing Found On The Course

Seems like the craziest thing and I don't know how anyone would lose this type of thing but my friend and I found a set of dentures on the course last year. He got out of the cart, looked down and there they were. How does a person lose a set of dentures?

I found two perfectly rolled joints at Geneva on the Lake golf course in Ohio. One was brand new, and if the lengths were the same, the other one had maybe 2 or 3 puffs off it. Someone forgot them in the cart apparently.

I found a crack pipe at Rio Hondo in Downey, CA along the 11th tee box. There is a dead end street there I guess junkies use. Must have had some cops roll up and ditched the pipe into the leaves near the tee box.

Found a Coney Island whitefish on two different fairways. Someone had a good time!

more of a lost than found for me and a commentary on finding something and not returning it. now this is my fault for being careless and an idiot but two times now I've left laser rangefinders at two different courses and did not get them back. the first time was this past summer at Paxon Hollow in Springfield, Pa. called the pro shop the next day (once I realized it was gone) and they said, "yea hold on, i think I remember seeing something here". put's me on hold and comes back and goes "nope, don't have it". No comment but you can use your own imagination. second time I was at a super exclusive CC in Bethlehem, PA. Played a round and had the same laser finder (yes, I bought it again...) clipped to my bag. was a bumpy ride and realized after a couple of holes on the back that it was missing. told our caddy and he went and checked with groups behind him. nothing. after we finished round talked to caddy master and he said call back in a day or two. called back, nothing.

look, I'm the careless idiot who lost two of these things. I get it. but, I can tell you without any doubt if I find anything on a golf course I turn it in. put yourself in my shoes. how pissed would you be if you were me?? turn everything in. it's not yours. i agree with a previous post - what if it was a wallet or a rolex?? just do the right thing.
