Hello,

I currently play a DI 6X in my SLDR and haven't heard much feedback on the new MT shaft. Has anyone hit it and done any comparison?

Try looking in Pure745's WITB thread. He's the only person i can remember off the top of my head who's hit them both. I don't remember what was said, but check it out for yourself and hopefully you'll find some info, or just ask.

Just looked through Tai's WITB and he said the MT is between the BB and DI. I'm surprised there isn't more info on the MT we have barely got anything

Anybody tried the MT and the DI in a driver head to head? I'm particularly interested in the MT-6S vs. the DI-6S.

Not side by side but I've hit both in the same head .. don't have any numbers for you, this is purely subjective .. similar feel, performance but better dispersion with the MT for me. From what I had read I was worried about higher launch but this is no higher launch than the DI imo .. I"ve used the DI, BB and the MT .. The MT fits right in between the DI and BB if that makes any sense ..

For what its worth .. I picked up the MT for my 3/5 wood as well .. No plans to swap out anymore .. and I love GD shafts

I have the mt and love it best shaft I have ever used when good dead straight with good tole out I would buy another for spare that's how good I like them.

This has been my experience as well. I have the MT and DI both in 7x and really love them both. I have also had the BB so I second the above statement that the MT fits in between the 2 shafts. I have hit some of the longest drives of my life with these shafts. Soft and solid is hard to beat!

I just put an MT-6x into a Big Bertha Alpha and really enjoy this shaft compared to DI which I have lots of experience with. Overall, the feel is smoother and you can feel the softer tip for sure, but it's very accurate. I think it does spin a bit more but it's not a high spin shaft. I really think this would be a great fairway shaft in 7x or 8x...

what flex did you use? and did you do any tipping ?
