How's the HZRDUS with the M1? I've been interested in this shaft but seen such mixed reviews. Do you think the M1 enhances it or would it be a good shaft with any head?

I actually only have one round in under my belt with M1/HZRDUS. But it was enough for me to start selling off my backups. I played a course that I play often so I know where I'm usually coming in from and I was a lot closer than usual. Accuracy was there too. Birdied a few holes I normally wouldn't due to distance or shot shape. I play a draw off the tee and really come from inside and if I don't release it I miss with a push right...I did have some of my normal misses but overall it was the best I drove it in a while. When I play a left to right ball off the tee I usually give up some yards but this was still getting out there pretty deep.

 

I am coming from 915D3 with HZRDUS. The distance was there with this combo but for some reason I could not get that thing to turn over.

 

To answer your question...personally I'd like this shaft in any head. I think it's great with the M1.

Been nuking M1 w/ HZRDUS. Literally best I've driven the ball. Ordered an M2 head and GP6X to test different combinations.

Currently using M1 with AD-GP 6X. Have an M2 head as well. I actually like the feel of the M2 better but like the adjustability of the M1.

Put some MP64's in the bag with X100's. This combo may have be the best I've used. Love it. Put some T5 wedges in for matching reasons - they are fine and feel nice. Picked up a Newport select and that's the flavor of the week. Toulon Madison is on the way.

Tried out some RSI TP's with X100's over the weekend that I got on the cheap. They just seemed a little 'floaty' in the air and dispersion was not as good as MP64/X100.

 

Also picked up some Vokey SM6's...I like them but may stick with MP-T5's...we'll see what happens.

 

Ordered a Vapor Flex 440. Looking forward to trying that out.

 

Threw a Super Stroke slim on my Newport and it looks like that's a winner.

Nike Vapor Flex 440 didn't work for me. I really think it was the shaft and I didn't want to go down that road of shaft games for a Nike driver. But the head did feel really good and the sound was unlike anything I've heard before...I don't mean that in a bad way either.

 

Have some Speeder Evo II's coming...661X and 757X for the TM woods.

I have no complaints with the AD-GP's. They perform very nicely. Just scratching an itch to try some different stuff I guess. Going to get out tomorrow I think we'll see how the Fuji's are.

AD GP was about as good as it gets for me. I had a 6x and wanted a 7x. Wasn't able to find one for any kind of reasonable price so went the Hzrdus Yellow route. Been a pretty good performer so far.

Yeah I play the typical Cleveland courses...Mana Kiki, Fowlers, Little Mountain, Sweetbriar, Boulder Creek, etc.

Yes its right off 71. Exit 165, a little closer to Columbus, about 45 miles north of Polaris. Ashland is right in the Middle of Cleveland and Columbus and its 20 miles south of me. Great course. My buddy lives in Stow and always wants to play Fowlers and all around Cleveland area. I have 2 difficult (they are awesome, just wild) kids and leaving my wife alone for 4-5 hours is tough enough on her. It's worse when you add in an hour each way travel so I don't really get too far from the house to play anymore. Every now and then. You get down to the area, hit me and up and we can play AGC or Deer Ridge. Ashland Golf Club (formerly Ashland Country Club) is actually a really really fantastic course. Tough greens, not super long but if you miss the fairway, you are in trees all day long. Even in the fairway you have overhanging branches to contend with. Really a great track. Deer Ridge is still my favorite in the area.

Yeah it does. The back does as well. Not as drastic as the front. I love that course. Always great. I'm playing it Saturday

The Speeders did not disappoint. Probably had my best driving day first time out...and I've been driving it pretty well this summer. I don't think I missed a fairway. Super smooth feel.

So irons in play lately...MP64's, MP69's and just picked up some 714AP2's. I did shoot a great round Sunday with the 69's ( -1 through 9 but ended up with a 75) but just hit the AP2's at the range and feel like how can I not put these in the bag. It is the third time I've owned the 714's lol.

 

Still like the Speeder EVO 2's. Definitely feel like I've picked up some yards...maybe due to the counterbalancing.

 

M woods are still firmly holding my attention and have no thought of switching them out. Will probably try 917 stuff when it comes out though.
