MACHINE Putters 1st Release (v1.0) by Dogleg Right

Some of us are not only deaf, but we are blind too!

 

So, for those of us who are, are the various heads just posted all Aluminum Bronze? And if so, are they all different colors from 'raw' - almost steel color to nearly black?

 

How many 'stops' in between are there?

Chris - I thought that was so. I am now interested in the different finishes/patinas - to figure out which one or which way to go with mine.

 

Do you or have you used an Aluminum Bronze before? If so can you compare feel on it?

I've used one before. Decent smooth feel. I have one of these coming in Monday and I will be able review it and I'll take a ton more pics of it.

This might have been mentioned but I can't see it.

 

Did anyone see the pics in one of the golf mags which had Hank Haney doing a spot about putting. In his hands was....you guessed it - a Machine putter. Looked damn fine as well.

I just had another very nice conversation with Dave about his putters.

 

I really think he's going to be one of the next great designers. Dave has the artistic, and mechanical background to make Machine one of the top 5 putter brands out there.

 

We're working on something pretty special...I can hardly wait to get my hands on it.

Sorry for the delayed response to most everyone's posts and PM's, emails, etc. And thanks for the new orders!

 

I will update you on what is sold and what is still available by tomorrow.

 

I am also making a new flickr slideshow with the last 1st Release models that are still available. Its a shrinking list, more so lately as we are also now selling them to local friends, family and putter fanatics too. And, we haven't even gone national / public with the website or advertising yet either....

 

So, if you have a putter you have been eyeballing, or pining for, please let me know soon.... Their days on the open range are numbered!

 

I promise to get to all unanswered questions and PM's by tomorrow. Thanks for hanging in there, and all your great posts above.

 

BTW, reebus, your new hosel is looking SWEET! moecat, the Revival is in process at the mill shop, and on-target! Big Kidneys, got your photo and it is a GARAGE gun blue / brass and is still available. Mr. Doug, man, I love talking putters! (and photography, video, lights, etc. !) and thanks so much for the post and making my already fat head swell. Nick, we don't have a "1.5" hosel yet, but we're working on it. Same for the center shaft, everyone. And Chris, well, we talked. And talked. Can you hear me now? You need a new (another new) new phone! LOL! :crazy: LaMont, the mill shop is cutting your weights tomorrow... Other testers, and other pending orders, more photos and updates tomorrow!

That appears to be a legit TOUR model, made in late 2005 for our first TOUR test. That is a very early version of the VMG face mill, and also one of the earliest logo prototypes in the cavity. (Note Chris's TEST model also has that early logo, as it was derived from the same TOUR / TEST batch and then updated with new double dogleg hosel, etc. Chris' stamps also designated the 2005 heritage. The new logos are an outline letter type. Headcover also looks to be legit AM&E. Of course no stamps, CO2, etc., but we weren't doing that back then. Not sure how it made it to the UK as we did not test on the European TOUR...

 

We did make those for TOUR only at the time, and then conducted a beta test at the original Hank Haney Golf Ranch in McKinney, TX in 2006... so it is indeed very rare and I think probably a reasonable price. Of course we are now selling MACHINE Putters, including some of this putters' fellow TOUR models and prototypes, etc., so the seller's statements are not all 100% accurate / up to date.

We have made Jim numerous putters over the years, and that one looks close to some of the specs of models he once used, but I would have to see it in person to make sure. I could also create a CO2 if anyone is interested. -DB

Very very close. I have LH plumbers hosels completed in 1018 and 303 ss, and heads and other hosels in the pipeline. I should have some pictures to share early next week.

Hi all you putter freaks! (takes one to know one! :crazy: )

 

Bump for another view of "Putter Love," Lucky #7, with my favorite "clean at address view," and billet copper plumber hosel, now part of a special, private collection. :)

 

The following putters are also headed to a new home!

 

#3, #6, #9, #11, #19, #25, #33 # 39, #40, #44, #45, #48, #49, #50. All I can say is thank you for everyone's incredible support!

 

As previously promised, also attached is a photo of a range of ARTWRX Putters, from 303 stainless steel on the left, to polished Aluminum Bronze, to satin Al-Br in the middle, to two hand rubbed, melted and pre-worn antique patina Aluminum Bronze putters on the right, all with various hosels. #75 on the far right has been upgraded with hand hammered peen and a hand bent flamed double dogleg hosel.

 

I will be posting more photos of the orders in process and completed later this week. We also have lots of really exciting news to announce very soon, so stay tuned!
