Srixon 945 irons (5, 7 and 9) shot at the 2014 Zurich Classic

I got to hit nearly everything today. The Z945's are a nice blade. Fairly thick top line. Not too hard to hit. Definitely being released in Europe. The 745 is nice too feels good and they would blend nicely as a combo. The driver was the standout. We're only getting the Z545 over hear but it's a beast. Little bit upright but looks so classic at address. Seemed low spin, and a quiet solid feel. Really good sleeper driver for next season.

Sadly, didn't see anything today. There is a specialty golf shop that had the head for the 945's about a week and change ago. Granted, they are sort of like "Cool Clubs" and custom build your irons so they may have special access to equipment. Unfortunately, I am going to be a USC's homecoming game tomorrow so I doubt I will get near a golf shop until Sunday. If I get out early (yeah right, my wife is a former TMB member so I think I will be on campus until 6 or 7pm at the earliest and the store closes about 8) I will make a run at it.

UPDATE: Saw the 545 and 745 in store today (PGA Superstore), but no 945's. I think those will be special purchase through certain suppliers. Oh well... the 545 and 745 look interesting but that sole width is HUGE to my eyes. Almost looks like hybrid iron technology.

I'm assuming you mean the 545s? I too saw the 745s last week and they're a solid looking club. Looks like an ever so slightly bigger version of the i701-Tours.

I also saw the 545's and 745's at the local PGA SS. What was interesting to me was that they were selling a combo set (4-6 545 and 7-PW 745), had never heard confirmation they were doing that. I was hoping there would be a demo iron to hit, but all they had was the sets on the wall. Both models looked nice, 545's just had a lot more muscle behind them. I'll try and snap some pictures if I head back later this week.

It might be an optical illusion with the way the back is cut (and the sole relief), but the sole and the bulge in the back would take a lot of getting used to for me on both clubs. I didn't get to hit any (no demo clubs) but I placed a 5 iron on the floor and it "looked" thick to my eye. Still, beautiful and I would love to see the 545, 745, and 945 all next to each other where I could look down on them and see how much change there is in width of sole/back. I only held a 945 head for a few minutes but I would think it is a bit thinner than the 745?? Anyone had these next to each other and can verify one way or another?

a combo set of 4-6 745 and 7-pw 945... *droooool*

Bought this exact kombo set an hour ago. Tried them on Trackman and they seemed too good to be true. I'm very happy with my current set (Apex Pro) and I didn't really need new irons... but what the heck, it's Christmas :)
Does anyone have an update on these 945 irons? They look amazing!!! 745's have been out for a while now and look a little thick
I just bought the 745s and have always played blades. The feel is astounding and any perception of thickness or being oversize vanishes as soon as you hit them. If individual irons ever pop up I'll buy the 945 Pw and 9.
