What putter did you just buy ?

I bit the bullet a month or so ago and bought my first 009. Wasn't sure whether to keep it pristine or game it but decided that they are tools not jewels and it hasn't left the bag. Such a well balanced putter with a distinct sound at impact. Unfortunately with the UK damp weather it had already tarnished a little but I can deal with that. I am sure a bit of baby oil occasionally will keep it young.

Love this. If I ever spend 4 figures on a putter I'm definitely getting it out on the course - if I want to make investments I'll stick to real estate and legitimate financial instruments!

ETA: It's also nice to know that even a gamed 009 will probably hold most of it's value.

Just rolled a few rounds with a new Never Compromise sub30 type 30 and really wanted to like it but it's too soft for me. I really liked the SS milled putters I was messing around with at the local golfsmith and the Cleveland Classic seems like a great deal at $90. Felt really similar to the Scotty Newport select but for a fraction of the price.

Anyone want a almost new NC sub30??? :-)

Callaway preowned was having a 20% sale on putters this week. I purchased the all black metal-x-milled #9ht in "very good" condition. It arrived today but instead I received a brand new metal-x-milled versa #9ht putter with the weight kit included. A $100 difference I believe?

A Ping Anser Milled #5 in very good condition, with a newly installed Silver/Black SS 1.0. And I only paid 50£ for it!

I bought a new Odyssey White Damascus #1 on eBay for $95, a no brainier purchase. I also went on Callaway Pre-Owned and bought a Metat X Milled and a White Hot Pro, both #1 versions, where the combined price netted me a 30% discount. The White Damascus is in the bag and I've been very pleased with the results.

After much back and forth I just pulled the trigger on the Odyssey ProType #2! Looked at the X-milled but at twice the price I figure I will improve my game and save for custom fitting on a more expensive putter when my abilities justify the price. I will probably add a SS grip at some point but no rush as it's cold here and I am on the disabled list from too much golf!

Purcahsed a Taylormade Spider 2.0 mallet last week. I have played a Yes! Callie putter for almost 8 years. I really wanted to like the Spider Blade, but decided on the 38" mallet and I'm glad I did.

Put it in play on a course I had never played yesterday and had one of my best putting rounds I can remember. This putter puts a good roll on the ball and lining it up is super easy.

Color me impressed.

Good purchase! I switched from a strong arc stroke to left hand low which made me more SBST. I bought this putter, put a SS 3.0 on it and it has been lights out ever since.

Just picked up a TaylorMade spider blade 12 putter. Probably going to order the superstroke flatso 17 for a longer and wider grip.
