I am watching the Open now. I think in conversations at a latter date to differentiate between the US and British opens I will call it the British Open. But currently it's easier to call it the Open. It's nice to know that I wasn't losing my mind and at one time in the not so distant past it was called the British Open. I just hope it's not a PC thing, like the term British is not inclusive and should be the UK Open. Anyway, for today it is the Open.

It was always the Open, but on the U.S. side, most sports fans didn't even know it existed apart from when it was won by Bobby Jones or Arnold Palmer. Hence the need to refer to it as the "British" Open.

Not having Berman instantly makes everything better. I heard the MLB HR Derby was a nightmare because of him. Plus, the people at the stadium had to listen to Mike Greenberg, so it was a lose lose situation.

Masters champion Bubba Watson missed cut at the US Open and now +4 at Hoylake #TheOpen

 

This is really a shame to see b/c Bubba probably has the most natural talent (current player) to win the career grand slam. He will probably start to appreciate playing links golf later in his career (like Phil) .

 

I don't think he is mentally able to appreciate anything outside USA

 

He's a lefty and long, Augusta plays right into his hands... otherwise on a course that requires good management and accuracy... forget about it.

80% chance of rain most of the day. I don't think anyone is going to escape. It's just going to be ugly no matter the draw.

BBC commentators mentioned that the tougher draw would be the afternoon once again. Stronger winds are expected.

Rose has got to be tired by now. Won the last two tournaments he played. Even he said that him winning the Scottish Open lowers his odds of winning this week.

I am curious what the scores are going to look like tomorrow and saturday if it rains.

It was all him, and I still contend strongly due to his ADHD. He did well by first acknowledging it and second, settling down. He did well by owning up to it.

As a person with ADHD, it can be a nightmare when things get out of place. It becomes almost impossible to focus, you get butterflies in your arms and head (best way of describing the tingling and scatterness), and you are extremely irritable. The days that I forget to take my meds or run out are absolutely brutal. I can't imagine how I would cope unmedicated, as Bubba allegedly is.
