ESPN has shown 6 tee shots at the first hole this morning. 5 of them were irons. This includes the likes of Stenson, Matsuyama, McIlroy, and Spieth. Guess they're all "being stubborn."

Outstanding leaderboard. Would love to see these names up there come Sunday. Hope Scott can at least hold it at -3. If he holds his nerve and goes out tomorrow morning at that score he will be in with a great chance of holding the 36 hole lead. Early days but has the makings of a great championship.

Maybe ESPN does the Open a little too Americanized for the golf purist, but the production work on these interviews and short videos after the commercial breaks is outstanding. No one else can compete with that.
