Does anyone know when the Vapor clubs will be sent to fitting centers to start fitting people? I know the clubs aren't released until the October 31st but was wanted to get fitted prior and was curious if they would be sending the components earlier to fitting centers

It's "NEW" to Nike blades/irons. Not new in irons in general.

The story begins with tiny slugs of tungsten that were secretly positioned in the back of Tiger Woods’ Nike VR Pro Blade irons.

Those pieces of tungsten, weighing between 5 and 8 grams each, shifted the center of gravity (CG) in Woods’ irons slightly more to the toe side, directly into the middle of the hitting area, offsetting the weight of the hosel. Don’t look for a tiny weight in old photos, because each was embedded into the back of the club before the chrome was applied, making it invisible. Andrew Oldknow, Nike Golf’s senior product designer, said, “Our goal was not to give Tiger a new version of his old clubs, it was to give him a better version.”

I know everyone is swooning over the Nike Vapor Pro, but — in my opinion — even if it performs like a blade, it's not a visually appealing blade. Nike should reissue their original blade. I'd buy another set in a heartbeat (I can dream).

The size of that Nike swoosh would have been perfect on the MM PROTOS and Vapor's.
