I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. I carry it in my front pocket all the time without issue. Probably wouldn't work for a size 2 female but an adult male wouldn't have any reason not to do so.

Sorry I haven't gotten an FO view. Played yesterday and totally forgot to take a video. I'll have DP4 take one Friday if I don't get something up before that.

As for a mount, I had a buddy holding that. I am waiting on a mount for the iPhone 6 with the GoPro connector as I own quite a few nice GoPro mounts I would like to utilize.

Again, I am not going to be sitting down with a device in my pocket, Samsung or otherwise. Matter of comfort, first and foremost. Matter of conveinience second as fishing a 6.5x3.0 phone out of my pocket while seated is a little silly. I know I am going to use it in a minute or so, why not have it out?

The 6+ has optic image stabilization. I would venture to guess that that has something to do with how steady the image is.

This looks awesome - This is the best video quality I've seen from any personal video recording device so far IMO.

To the "benders" out there - any idiot who bends their phone on purpose deserves what they get - a broken phone and lots of cash out the window.
I have a Samsung SIII and have tested with a little pressure on it towards bending, and can guarantee you it would break in half if I[b] tried[/b] to bend it - and I'm a girl - some big dude would snap it like a twig. lol

My pro has the new iPhone 6+ and he loves it, especially the quality when shooting video at night with only the normal lighting in his hitting bay. Much better than his Casio in these conditions.

The people purposely bending phones are complete idiots that should no longer be able to reproduce. Complete stupidity.

On the topic the video capability in phones is getting so good there's no need for a big camera.

Had a chance to get out to the golf dome today and take a couple videos. I'm impressed with the quality under such poor lighting. It is leaps and bounds better than the expensicr DSLR cameras the instructors use.

We got iPhone 6 plus phone for the holidays and I've tested the slo-mo for golf and it's stellar. So glad I didn't waste my money buying a dedicated camera for this. Now I just need to work on my shoulder rotation with the driver.

What are you using for tri-pod for filming your yourself? Are most people using the Joby Gorilla Pod?

It's actually set on a table using a headcover to hold it...I haven't found anything I like yet. I have a bunch of GoPro mounts that I'd like to figure out a way to mount the iPhone on, but for now just setting it on something works fine.
