Streamsong Through the Skies

Friend and I went flying yesterday (couldn't resist, it was beautiful!!!) in a Rans S-12 lightsport plane. We took off from a small airport in Lakeland and flew to St. Pete and we decided to check out Streamsong after stopping for gas in Manatee county. I've played streamsong, and I'm telling you, it's even better from the skies. The pictures I attached do it absolutely no justice. God bless.

Really cool pictures. You have more guts than I do. I wouldn't go up in one of things!

Idk, played the Blue Course last year and between the greens fees, caddie and drinks/food after the round it was close to $1k for two people. We had a tee time for the Red course the next day and cancelled it. We just couldn't justify another $1000 day. While I would say the conditions are excellent I just can't say its a must play - simply too much for what you get.

Holy crap! How much food and alcohol did you drink? I paid $175/person in greens fees ($350 total), $180 in caddie fees and $100 for drinks and food. That's $630 total for 2 people. How did you manage to spend another $370??

Played this past Jan and paid $275/man in greens fees. $175 would be worth it. So for my trip it was $550 for greens fees $100 man for caddy and two bourbons each with two appetizers and lunch was like $150. So closer to $900 total for the two of us but still outrageous for a golf course in the middle of Florida.

I was wondering if maybe someone from here spotted us. We flew over last night (10/18)...It was sunset so the course was basically empty. A few people waved and we waved back from the hotel.

Played this past Jan and paid $275/man in greens fees. $175 would be worth it. Great pics! I paid $175 for the red. Then the replay rate for the blue was $90. Add on $25 for lunch and I left paying $290 total. Wish I didn't live in Illinois.
