Updated rules for Avatars, Signatures, etc.

Please help us help everyone.

In order to increase site efficiency we are going to be asking a few things to change as soon as possible and everyone's cooperation is much appreciated.

1) Please remove slided shows from signatures as its is delaying the load of threads for people useing IE and low bandwith. Signatures should also display one bag full of items and if you need to go more in depth, then please open a WITB thread in the WITB forum. Again, it makes posts faster and easier to read. Reminder, Bag info only and please do not use it to advertise, sell, or seek products.

2) Avatar sizes will be reduced very soon and please be aware that they should be business appropriate. No provocative pics or distasteful pics. This thread is asking you to please comply with the rules and please help us to keep the board clean.

Just a couple of points I was hoping you could clear up. What if we have multiple bags, or have more than 14 clubs at home. Is it ok to list everything we now have, and maybe color code to include stuff we're looking to pick up? :russian_roulette:

Villa, general rule of thumb has always been, "if you have to ask..." :russian_roulette: But that said, I think you're on the safe-ish side. Lot of leg but no crack or cleavage.

Well my avatar has already "provoked" one response - and probably more than a few private thoughts - of "is that your son?" To avoid further similar future "provocations" should it be disallowed? :cheesy: (too early in the morning on the west coast)

We can resize thumbnails down to a much more friendly number but, it seems alot of people like to see pics without having to click on the images. I would like to take it down to 640x480 but, I think that may be too small for some.

I like the idea of making thumbnails smaller... maybe a tad larger (although 640x480 is good for me), but something like 720x540 (same ratio). Anyways, I see the avatar size has been limited to 100x150, good idea... should speed things up a bit.
