I ended up ordering a b1-01 CF and really don't care for the solid blue grip on it. Your grip has some black in it which looks better imo.

Well hang on to your VRS Forged..........you may not think the VFP are a step up.

 

I've played the VFP's the last year and they are a very good set of irons but I'm moving back to either my Covert Forged or my MM Proto Pro Combos. The forged is just a slight softer feel on center of face hits and not quite as harsh feeling on slight mis-hits.

Finally played at Chambers Bay yesterday. Had a great round shooting 78 with 1 birdie...left a ball in the rye grass with my name on it.

You should contact Nike via chat for a price adjustment on the ASIII, they just dropped the price to $79.

Finally pulled the trigger and bought vapor fly pro irons and extra set of black z grips. I will use them someday when I feel I'm not hitting good with my vapor pros. With 49 degree aw, do I need 54 and 60 wedges or 56 and 60? I hit about 115 yds with my current 58.

It's the same one used for vapor fly pro driver. I got it from ebay.

I went 49/52/56 because the tracks I typically play at are hardpan/tight lies and a LW usually results in a TW stinger across the course.

 

Also, I have never used a set wedge until the VFP AW and I have to say it is pretty much point and shoot for touch shots due to the head design vs a traditional wedge.

It's my Oven Fly that I sent to Continental Golf for a refinish. No swoosh on the top. Actually no Nike sign at all lol
