I'm looking to buy either the vapor fly iron set or vapor fly pro irons but I'm not too sure which would be a better fit for me. Obviously I'm gonna try to find a GG around me to hit the two and compare but just in case I can't I was wondering on some input on the sets?

I'm a 14 handicap who has trouble with his driver not irons if that helps at all. Thanks

So what's going on with the 360 app? I don't use cellular data with mine and it still saves all my rounds and stats. What part is going away?

 

probably any type of server side saves. so if you ever delete the app from your phone or change phones you'll lose all of that info whenever they shut the servers off.

 

Gotcha. I suck at golf and usually delete my rounds anyway haha

 

I seen beta for the Nike golf club app (which was to replace the NG360 app) and it looked badass. Too bad it's probably not going to launch.

Yeah I'm switching to the M2 or M1 when the prices drop in January, probably going to switch out my VF 15° to an M2 3HL. Everything else in the bag is set for a long time. Love my Vapor Pros and Engages. And I don't think my 001 will ever leave me.

 

Quick question for you guys that had the Vapor Fly Pro driver and switched to something else, are you seeing distance gains? More accuracy? Both?

 

I hope m1 or m2 fairways drops lower than $250 when it goes on sale.

 

I think they are both same price now. But the cheap bastxxx that I am. I want to grab a new one or a good condition one around $200.

Recently gamed the set below as I needed to rent clubs whilst on a business trip.

 

All I can say is they are extremely good clubs and I seemed to hit them all better than my Nikes. Shot my lowest ever score.

 

However, I am still a beginner and a lot of golf is in my head at the moment and I believe I can play to a better level with my current Nike setup.

All I can say is they are extremely good clubs and I seemed to hit them all better than my Nikes. Shot my lowest ever score.

 

However, I am still a beginner and a lot of golf is in my head at the moment and I believe I can play to a better level with my current Nike setup.

I wear Med in most all Nike and 10 in some of the shoes. That would have been nice.

They weren't cheap to rent lol. The Course was the Sahara Kuwait. Used on MENA tour events. Range balls were TaylorMade too. I think they must be sponsored by TaylorMade. All the rental sets were M1 drivers and M2 irons.

 

They were better than the rental set from previous day at another course.....

Update on my ongoing MMPROTO Pro Combo project. I had the loft and lie checked before shafting them; picked up the heads yesterday. Below are the 4 and 9 irons; before before and after the badge being added to the cavity. Going to shaft these first and see where the SW is and how much weight I may need to add to hit my desired playing weight.

Miura forged Prototype Split cavity Chrome and Full Cavity (raw) irons, 2-PW. Current shafts are Tour Concepts S3 in both sets.

I had one I just recently sold about a month ago with a ad di 105x shaft. It was a solid club but it didn't set up just right to my eye so I went to a different 3 iron which works better with my fairway wood changes.
