Interesting indeed. I've been leaning more toward Ping before as It was for replacing my Nike sticks when the time comes, even more inclined to if there is Nike tech down the road in the sticks.

I love Ping irons and always seem to go to them if I leave Nike for awhile. Not big on their woods and wedges though.

I know I'm missing something here regarding how the deal works but I do know that 35+16=51.

 

You'd take 35% off of the, say, $100 = $65. Then you take 16% off of the $65 = $54.60. so not 51% off but 45.4% off

I thought B2|05 was a long slant neck like the Anser 5??? (Nevermind, I see now that they're both long necks and the 04 is a slant). Both face balanced?

I putted with it at the local putting green. Rolls great. I actually like the slant neck compared to the plumbers neck because you can see more of the ball to my eye.

 

But the stock Random thin pistol style grip was skinnier than Paris Hilton. Not good.

 

So, before the local golf shop closed. I changed it to blacked out ping man grip + 4 wraps and it's way better after I rolled out at the store putting green. Much better.

Oh, I see. I think the Japan fly pro irons have a smoke finish than the full black finish that's available in the USA.

 

I don't know why the Japan and USA versions are different. Don't have to think about it anymore. Since no more clubs being made. Lol

The vapor fly pros in japan have a black/chromish finish to them. Definitely plated and definitely BEAUTIFUL!

I really liked the look and feel of the i200's. Surprisingly, because I haven't hit a cast iron since 2002, a very soft feel. My VPC's are brand new so I have a few years left with them yet, pry bagging Nike for the next 5 years hopefully.

My 54 toe sweep from GolfGalaxy is still "received and ready for processing". Been 4 days now. Starting to wonder if i'm even going to get it. Hit around with the 58 last night, damn these things are heavy. I actually really like it, I find it gives me a bit more of a consistent stroke with the additional weight over my MD3s. Really hoping I get the 54 soon so I can put them both in play and sell the MD3s to someone who will play them better.

Yep. I loved the VP short irons. 5 iron was ok. 4 iron was brutal.
