First session with my vapor speed and flex....Man they both feel incredible. However I was more consistent with the speed than the flex regardless of which shaft I swapped between the two. This first session was with both clubs @9.5 neutral. I consistently hit the center of the speed the entire time the flex I was more sporadic center to heel. But man the ball feels like its launching off the face. I need to work some more with both of them but this week the speed is being gamed.

I love the vapor line of drivers, but I think they are pretty weak with misses off the heal. More so than other drivers I have hit. I feel your pain!!

I took my Toe Sweep 60* out of the bag and replaced it with the Dual Sole 60*, and my inside 100 yard game has been so much better. The TS was digging way too much especially around the greens.

Played 18 today for the first time with my vapor TW driver. WOW is this thing a monster. I was worried about the loft as its higher than I typically hit, but I actually think I might have flown it further than my vapor pro. (maybe its the loft and I should be playing more, but who knows). The thing was stupid straight which was the biggest quality. I didnt have a single mishit all day that was really penalized, and I know I hit several far from the center of the face. The length was outstanding. One whole in particular, flew it as far as my vapor pro ever went. I knew that because my ball obviously shot backwards after impact.Granted it was down wind, but still had to be a further carry distance than Ive ever hit there. The smaller head size was also money. IMOP the smaller head size makes you focus in on the ball more, and actually makes it easier to hit the sweet spot. There will certainly be more testing to come, but this driver might be unreal if it keeps this up!!

Just ordered a 60* Dual Sole Engage from NDC. First time ever paying full price for a club from Nike lol. Got my Method 005 putter ('10 model I believe) for ~$80 on Cyber Monday from Golfsmith. Got my Covert 2.0 3W for around the same price on Groupon a while back too. Both awesome clubs, the putter possibly being the best I've ever used.

 

Hopefully the wedge gets here by Saturday so I can put it to use on Sunday. If it performs I'll be adding a SS 52* and TS 56*.

Me too. This bag is great.

 

I do wish it had more of the blue from the air sport/lite. The fabric like blue that reminds me of the chukkas. But It was an easy trade off for the added storage and 14 way.

Hey guys, new to this thread as I'm not a big Nike guy. But I need a lob wedge and Nike has me interested because the wedges have a nice shape.

 

I wanted to see if any of you could compare the Engage dual sole to the last gen VR X3X dual wide sole? I see that one only has 8* bounce in the 58* while the Engage has 13*, but the VR has a wider sole, but with less heel/toe relief

 

Could anyone comment on how the two compare in terms of performance, versatility, etc?

Just got a much needed pair of Nike Bandon 3's for the hardcore UK rain we get 97% of the time! These puppies are very comfy. Went 1/2 size bigger after hearing about the zip failures. Can't wait to go wading ankle deep to properly test them along with a full set of Galvin Green waterproofs!
