The weather was just phenomenal yesterday. I was expecting to see more round reports than there were.

The new clubs look great, Dave. Don't worry about what the cork sniffers think. They can take those corks and stick 'em where the sun doesn't shine.

I've still got a way to go with these wrists, but I'm heading out to do some putting and maybe some light chipping later this morning. It's starting to get to the point where I need to know if I'm healing well enough without further medical intervention. Having the issue be "manageable" means being able to golf to me.

I haven't seen any of ours guys have that bag but you could definitely jump up in the ranks for clicgear mafia with that bag.

Dew sweeper round this morning -- 7:00 am tee time at Bull Run, home right at 11. Typical early season round that there was a lot of good and a lot of bad. 85 with 3 birdies, 4 doubles. Driver and putter came and went. Course was in great shape, weather was phenomenal.

You're in, AFSFK. I'd definitely have to say goose or dc is the true don of the clicgear mafia though. I'd give that nod to C Freezy, but he's more of an OG than a don.

Bag-wise, it's all about the PING Hoofer. Generally, when you see somebody with a Hoofer, they've got some game.

My mental health got a serious boost today. I met goose at waverly woods for some putting and light short game work. I tried to keep the short game work low impact, for the sake of not overdoing it. I needed to get out there and start testing it a little though. Not feeling too bad at the moment, but we'll see how it holds up over the next 24 hours. I'm definitely not ready to get out there and hit full shots, especially with irons where I'm taking divots. It just felt great to be out there though. I really wasn't too rusty either.

Goose had some solid short game form, especially given how early in the season it is. I don't think he's got any real problem in the bunkers either. I think it was just a little bit of rust, and perhaps a little bit of a club problem as well. I handed him my TVD-K, and he proceeded to hit one gorgeous bunker shot after another. Still don't think it was enough to convince him to drink the Vokey kook-aid though.

bull run is my favorite local course. The setting is awesome and its a fun course, I am dying to play a scramble there.


Also, I do have a walking cart that my older neighbor gave me before he moved and if anybody local is looking for one I would rather somebody use it than sit in my parents basement. Its in rather good shape and hasn't been used much at all. I don't think I want to sell it, at most maybe just trade it for a backup club or something…if not just pass it on to somebody who would give it use. Just pm me if anybody is interested.
