[b]range balls:[/b] free, last time i was there. can't imagine they'd charge us for them. decent amount of targets. good sight lines. the range is like a 5 minute cart ride away from the clubhouse. i am not exaggerating.

[b]chipping/putting:[/b] the one by the clubhouse is part of the #18 green. awkward. but no one will be playing 18 when we are there that am, so bonus! there's also another one by the range which i believe has a practice bunker. everything was aerated by mid-march, so everything should be in fantabulous shape for us next week.

[b]breakfast:[/b] i found the food after the round to be quite good. the soup was excellent. however, the restaurant wasn't open for us when we arrived early a few weeks ago for our saturday round. things may have changed since the golf season has gotten underway.

[b]arriving early: [/b]highly recommended. with traffic, inaccurate gps instructions, and other variables, i suggest giving yourself at least an hour leeway. note: i'm not going to be holding anyone's hand on this one. you all have your tee times, i expect you to be on the tee and ready to go. i'm not switching groups all around to accommodate people that are running late. my tee time is the last one of the am: it's possible you might not even see me if you are in the first group.

I was starting to think the wrist injury long con might be coming to an end in the not terribly distant future. In the aftermath of my short game session on Sunday, I'm not feeling too good about the prospect of that. So far, test failed.
